rmart, they may well be buys but until any overhang is gone then the buys will continue to be mopped up.

Don't know if Matt got his money, but I am pretty sure an insider got wind of the subscription and sold prior to the news.

Should get another quarterly update from mexico in a few weeks, and then in September we should get interims again. I wonder what they will have to talk about. They haven't done any exploration this year, and there has been no explanation as to what happened after the last interims, and why they opened the cupboard to the cookie jar and found empty wrappers, when they had told us they had enough custard creams for the foreseeable future.

Thats AIM for you. You just have to try and spot the time when they have gone through that process and buy at the bottom. The fact that they raised this money at this price tells me this is the bottom and now is a good time to get in.

You are right about something not adding up. I love the fact that the subscription is only at a discount of 5.88% to the actual market price. That's because an insider who is clearly taking up their option in the subscription, sold millions of shares, knowing full well they could buy them back cheaper.

This stock is my last foray into small cap shares. All of my small cap purchases have been abysmal failures, and they all have a familiar ring about them. Promises not met. Goals not achieved consistently. And endless fundraisings that result in my original investment being worthless. And management treating shareholders like they don't matter.

Martin I totally agree. Alot of unanswered questions. I also said about blowing money on prospects way back. David Newton was supposed to be a numbers guy so he must of realised.

Maybe they just took the cash for themselves!!! I am not putting anymore money into this even if they come up with a plan going forward.

Something just does not add up and I don't just mean thier accounting.

Gazza - There's no surprises that something has gone awry. That has been clear since Christmas. But why did they not spot this back in September and November when they issued a "glowing" set of interim results and felt they had enough money that they could blow a few thousand on a copper prospect in Idaho. What happened in those few months? Did someone take a detour through Reno and put all the cash on black? Did some banditos hijack a truck carrying a load of concentrate from the mill? What the heck happened and why haven't they explained the change in circumstances??? Neither Matt nor David Newton have told me what has really happened. I can't believe it is just down to a 20% drop in revenues from the mill.

Someone as to do the work - What work? They have not been exploring however that will hopefully change now.

Those salaries are not particularly high. Someone has to do the work. But equally, with relatively small outgoings they should have a pretty good idea of expenses going forward. So why the big surprises with the cash levels and the recent fundraising.

the saleries were paid from production income. They are still producing and the new money is for new projects.

Your point would have been fair if they were a non producing company.
