As a result, for the nine months to 31 January 2017, the Group delivered total revenues of £70.8 million, representing growth of 16.4 per cent. on the prior year.

I make this an increase of c £10M

Y/e revenues 5% below expectations at £93M ...so some £4.6M

So they still project growth this year of c 10%. It may be a profit warning but modest and the share price has already pulled back.

Very much a profit warning - plus still litigation overhang -

Does not look good - Coupled with previous resignation (was he fired or did he jump)

SP could be very soggy this morning on top of previous pull backs.

Why is the share price dropping again? I know the director issue would cause a short drop but this seems to be dropping all the way back to its starting point.

idealing credited my account on 6th March.

Barclays seems to be making a habit of not being paid - read the DOTD board for a the same issue:

and judging by the recent posts it had still not been sorted out as of last week.

Huttonr, there are posts on other threads reporting similar issues with Barclays. see eg, WJG, DOTD threads

PS. I live on the other side of the world and I've got my dividend 11 days ago.

Query - is anyone else having a problem with the receipt of the last dividend? Barclays tell me that they have not yet been paid.

jg morning

``There is some other explanation, IMHO. Not a positive though - hence the share price reaction``

There`s no evidence to suggest that he`s jumped ship for any other reason.
I think if there was some bad news on the way he wouldn`t have wanted to highlight it and jeopardize the value of his wife`s large holding but who`s to know really.

We`ve had a fall back to 108p after the results and then back up to 128p.
Gone EX,dividend paid and some PIs taking profits. The Jobbers are doing their thing and getting a bit of two way trade going on the back of a little bit of uncertainty with regard the resignation of Tom Lindup.

Adrian Barden, acting chairman, said: “On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Tom for his contribution to the Group, in particular in the development of Van Elle’s legal and governance functions, and we wish him well in the future.”

There does seem to have been a particular role that Tom was brought in to do and with the old guard, founder Michael Ellis and deputy grp chairman Vic Hanley, retiring and hanging up their spades it looks like, imo,be a good time to call it a day.

The company might be a bit unaware of how markets react to these announcements and I tend to agree that they could have told us in a slightly different way.

I think you will find Family were locked in at IPO but when lock up expires I think a good chance his wife - daugher of the founder will wish to unload her shares -- If for no other reason than portfolio diversification .

She hold some 3% - so a big potential overhang .

Jumping ship before it sinks? The Board should have made a detailed announcement instead of the abrupt one. Has anyone spoken to the house broker?

So knowing that, why is the share price still diving ? Surely the markets must know the company is a sound investment...

I think that I agree with alfieduncan (post 77) - just in for the IPO to look after the family interest - they had a suitable lawyer in the family so why not make use of him. However, his skills (?) are not of much use now the IPO is over, so .... time to retire gracefully.

Tom Lindup, Group Managing Director and Company Secretary, has left the Company to pursue new opportunities.

With respect Alife, I'm not buying that explanation. Why would you take on someone as an exec just for the float and ditch them afterwards - makes no sense. And raises questions afterwards. If the skill gap was only for the IPO - you'd just contract short term, or use a consultant.

There is some other explanation, IMHO. Not a positive though - hence the share price reaction

GLAH (of which I'm one)

Alfie- you are absolutely right;the company has no need for Lindup and can now progress without unnecessary interruption.

My take on it is that he looks to have come in to do a particular legal role pre float and has kept a respectful distance from founders retirement by going a month or two later.

Could it be family feedback ? Remember his wife is a significant holder - daughter of the founder -- Just musing (I know nothing) but the rns was (imo) unusually brusque and abrupt.

I wonder whether his role has been diminished since the successful stock market listing. He was appointed just prior to the float.Interesting that they don`t intend to replace him.

``The board said that it had no plans to replace him, and that Mr Lindup’s operational responsibilities would be absorbed by senior colleagues on the executive management team.``
