VAL is an oncological company with women's health permutations to its IP.BC201 is just a small 'flip it' in concept possibility using 201 et al IP in collaboration. Read the RNS's and the main focus of this treatment as you will see is a general SARS/Covid/ hyper-immune focus, but the real baby for me is Sepsis being a $6 bn dollar unmet market, unaddressed. Its all related.Covid is just flavour of the month, but 201 has many applications as an inhibitor. (Massive)...., read again, but buying here on weakness.Pfizer have got a long way to go and press stating P3 are well off the mark IMHO and over-bullish in there remarks!8@D

bufala, don't you know that a very small part of the Val product range involves the following? This is why Val got caught up in today's bloodbath of any company involved in helping sufferers rather than a "cure" Here it is from Half Year Report 7 Sep....... "BC201 On 2 June 2020, the Company announced that it has entered into a collaboration agreement with Oncolytika Limited and Black Cat Bio Limited to consider the potential for VAL201 to be used in conjunction with other components for treatment of patients suffering a hyperimmune response after Coronavirus SARS-CoV2 infection........etc"

Down today because of the Covid connection BC201 and Val 201. The "good" news about the vaccine has knocked those shares working on ways to alleviate the hyper immune reaction.

Personally i don't think we will hear anything now until the end of the month Q&A. I just Suzy doesn't address the share price Angels comment on val301 nearing conclusion if that isn't quite the case as you will get a drop like today. I bet a lot of investors have been hounding her with regards to that comment, so hope she doesn't address it as a Q&A question. Early December for 201 full results id guess too.

I think the MMs have just marked many pharmas down irrespective of what they are focusing on. The problem then is trying to trade which has proved to be a nightmare. Just seems the MMs are quick to mark shares down but then trying to buy at the lows has proved very difficult...Big news due from Val this quarter but news could drop anytime in reality and so locking many out. You have to be in it to win and today, though frustrating, has been a good top up opportunity imo

I agree, BC201 is just the tip of the iceberg so just bought a few more thanks to Mr Pfizer as oncology and women's health is Val's forte.?

Trying to buy via halifax but painfully slow system and many errors, Seems positive news re:covid is creating big demand for share trades and so disrupting many systems...very annoying. Been trying to buy a few Val for over an hour but keep getting multiple errors and internet has slowed down condiderably. Finally managed to get a few. The drop in Val is unwarranted imo as the covid news does not affect val201 or val301 and news from either product is so close now.

I expect we are seeing pharma being hit across the board as leveraged longs are forced to sell all positions to cover cascading losses.Good time to have spare cash and no leverage
