28/7/2017 12:37 | I'm not sure anybody here has correctly accessed the effect of the ceasing of cash advances from utility providers. This is different to the 80% of contract commissions received upfront and very significant in terms of short term profitably. | cockerhoop
28/7/2017 11:55 | Should be an update next week, suspect that will generate some activity one way or another! | tratante
28/7/2017 09:12 | Think it's down to rump of river and mercantile being worked..low volume so overhang continues | tsmith2

27/7/2017 13:31 | Los of buys but never moving up and holding. Very weird | mj19
27/7/2017 12:09 | I would have assumed the management would check those very carefully prior to making their last statement so although I have some minor concerns, they don't match yours. Decent growth in customer numbers may provide enough income to offset the balances owed. Obviously this is not a perfect scenario, but moving forward things should hopefully look ok. | bennywin
27/7/2017 11:20 | Not up to the ceo benny, its an audit thing If the auditor has seen one claim there is a high probability more under consumption claims will come out of the woodwork If thats the case they will need to provision for it which will make it technically insolvent and potentially breach bank covenants too This company has historically has a mismatch to profit recognition and cash so is a target for mulleration to 10p Just my view. | larva
27/7/2017 11:07 | I have thought of that scenario Larva and can't totally discount it. However , I would be shocked if the new CEO turned out to be that dishonest. | bennywin
27/7/2017 11:00 | this is where it warns for the second time and crashes to 40p Technically insolvent if auditors think there is a risk of further claims Will be interesting what auditors think | larva
27/7/2017 10:59 | Time to be brave perhaps? A recent job advert quotes over 40000 UTW customers. A nice jump from previous numbers so it can't all be bad news. | bennywin
27/7/2017 10:31 | Strange this won't move up properly | mj19
24/7/2017 10:39 | The next trading update (which should be in the next couple of weeks), will be a pivotal one. BF set himself some very stretching targets concerning new customer numbers. If they are on track then I think we can relax and look forward to a very profitable future. If growth has stalled or is not looking good, then I be worrying even more than I have over the last couple of months. There are a few signals that the uptake of new water customers has not been very good so far as they state that less than 1 per cent of businesses have changed suppliers . On a plus side, all of the research I have done into the company, shows UTW now has a very good management team in place . | bennywin
23/7/2017 17:44 | I agree with your thoughts. My hope is that great sales in U.K. and especially Europe have offset the downside and the drop in share price has been an over reaction. I have been topping up at these levels as I think the upside outweighs the downside and I hope I'm right. | bennywin
22/7/2017 20:20 | Hi Divmad, sorry for the delay in replying - too little time as ever and too many flippin' Social Media platforms which confuse the hell out of me !! My thoughts are that the Divvy very much depends on how UTW is trading from here. If they have more problems then obviously the Divvy is at Risk but when you consider that most of the problems were more of an Accounting/Acquisiti Obviously if I am wrong then the Shares will tank but that is the Risk we have to weigh up - for me, the Risks favour more upside than downside. Bennywin and MJ19 thanks for your comments on the Blog - great to hear it is of use, Cheers WD | thewheeliedealer
