29/6/2017 10:20 | You've got to love some of these guys.. | tsmith2
29/6/2017 10:10 | Sold out +10% on day trade Had planned to hold but think negative sentiment will rule the day until FY results clarify in October. No problen selling volume just above 74p so buyers around Remains on watch GL - SJ | sailing john
29/6/2017 09:53 | I'm not blaming him. I would like him to announce something positive though. | bennywin
29/6/2017 09:50 | I wouldn't blame BF, he appears to be uncovering and disclosing the shady practice's of the previous management team. | cockerhoop
29/6/2017 09:49 | Seem to remember calling this the Quindell of the energy sector a couple of years ago. Nice to see I've been proven right. Reckon most of the revenue here is bogus. | the oxford whale
29/6/2017 09:17 | There's an old saying "Flattery will get you nowhere" or something like that He speaks of giving customers "a great customer experience" but it's not the same for shareholders - it has taken a while since he was appointed to tidy things up and even now it has been initiated by the energy company. Stopping taking advance payments now looks like deckchairs and the Titanic , and this latest affair was probably what was rumbling at that time . They hoped stopping advance payments would placate the energy company but they wanted the money back. Cash is going to be a big problem for UTW and may well sink them. Just my 2p | ganthorpe
29/6/2017 09:00 | Agreed. Suspect energy companies may start contract reviews | r ball
29/6/2017 08:57 | Looks uninvestable to me, but good luck holders. | spectoacc
29/6/2017 08:56 | Not overdone at all. Avoid. | r ball
29/6/2017 08:52 | Given the drift suspect someone was in know, shorted or sold.Think Way overdone now but looking for some momentum in intra day recover, if hit 80 will buy | tsmith2
29/6/2017 08:36 | Bought back in - several trades at 64-68 Probably not the end of the issue but thought reaction overdone SJ | sailing john
29/6/2017 08:24 | Not good obviously, but way over reaction now. | tratante
29/6/2017 08:23 | Everything you needed to know was in the chart IMO - long term down trend for a good reason. I just avoid charts like that regardless of how good the story is and who is buying - even the mighty get it wrong | davr0s
29/6/2017 08:19 | Amazing how many companies have taken Woodford for a sucker - and been right. Circassa & IVO spring to mind, as well as Northwest Bio in the US. ALM too. | spectoacc
29/6/2017 08:00 | 22.6.17 Cannacord BUY 225p target...!? | value viper
29/6/2017 07:59 | i wonder what woodford makes of all this with 29% stake. MAYBE this draws a line in the sand (maybe not) any one got a current (before today's news) net debt figure @ hand ? | value viper
29/6/2017 07:57 | Net Debt scary | nw99
29/6/2017 07:56 | Would you as an energy supplier deal with this company? Will UTW be able to reclaim commissions paid to its employees (some of whom may now have left)? Probably not. | r ball
29/6/2017 07:54 | Always an accident waiting to happen with their aggressive accounting, high pressure sales targets and sales staff attrition rates. | cockerhoop
29/6/2017 07:47 | Yet another nasty surprise from the 'accident prone' UTW. They have not managed to achieve any of the earnings expectations in the past three years. Why suppose that should change 'leopards & spots '!!! | buffetteer
29/6/2017 07:45 | Hasn't been the greatest of years. Let's hope that they are bringing in plenty of new business. | bennywin
29/6/2017 07:41 | agreed, market clearly knew this was coming ; valuation has been way too low. one would ask why and how it has taken the co this long to announce this in view of the price action, really since the beginning of May. I assume no impact to the dividend as no mention. | value viper
29/6/2017 07:39 | From April RNS:In order to further strengthen the Group's commercial prospects, the Board has taken the strategic decision to discontinue the practice of taking cash advances from suppliers, as well as increasing the transparency of the balance sheet through a number of prior period restatements and the non-cash impairment of our investment in t-Mac. The decision to discontinue cash advances from suppliers and the prior period adjustments will have a one-off impact on net debt but puts the Group in a stronger position to achieve its future growth ambitions. | ddubzy
29/6/2017 07:39 | Utlity-not-so-wise. They suggest the net debt position will remain the same (not sure how) so banking covs hopefully not an issue, but you'd have to question the dividend now. | spectoacc |
