29/6/2017 07:29 | Wasn't this announced in the IR in April....Hopefully mostly priced in now. | ddubzy
29/6/2017 07:26 | We know now why the weakness | nw99
22/6/2017 13:49 | Sounds like some frustration is kicking in ! www.utilitywise.com/ | bennywin
21/6/2017 17:36 | Divi yield is attractive imho. | freddie ferret
16/6/2017 13:43 | You are probably right Shawzie, although hopefully short term pain will put the company in a stronger long term position. | bennywin
16/6/2017 13:35 | Perhaps the following from Utilitywise has in part contributed to the fall in Share price. However is there some unease about accounting procedures? "This means that the Group will not seek previously planned cash advances totalling GBP9.2m during the second half of FY17 and, as a result of its commitment, will also repay a further GBP4.5m as the assumed volume of contracts delivered by the Group for certain suppliers will not be met. These amounts, along with associated VAT, will together lead to a one-off impact upon the Group's cash flow during the second half of FY17 of GBP16.4m with a resultant increase in the closing net debt of the Group at 31 July 2017 compared to the previously forecast position." | shawzie
16/6/2017 13:01 | I believe some of it is possible . There have and always been rogue salesmen in every company but I would have thought the processes have been put in place to stop this happening. You have set an account today just to make those posts, so please forgive me for being a tad cynical as to your motives. | bennywin
16/6/2017 12:55 | So you don't believe all of the noise from ex-employees who have left due to what they claim is mis-selling (specifically in renewals), including mis-sold contracts and customer contract extensions that have been re-sold without customer knowledge and then included in forward revenues that will probably not go live- all designed to mislead apparently? | thetruthcomesout
16/6/2017 12:15 | No I have a large investment in the company, so do as much homework as possible (as I do with all my investments.) Not happy with the share price at all, but I am convinced there is a solid foundation for a decent future. | bennywin
16/6/2017 11:40 | Do you work for UTW Benny? | thetruthcomesout
16/6/2017 09:37 | No surprise that there are some negatives as there always are. They are usually posted by people who have left and often over the top (But sometimes justified) However, salesmen moaning that they don't get commission if they don't hit target suggests that they are not any good at their job and UTW are best shot of them. I think that when UTW grew so quickly, it did not evolve its staff and systems accordingly and therefore there were problems. I am of the conclusion that things have changed drastically and for the better. There now seems to be an extremely professional management team in place and If you take the time to look at the twitter feeds from various managers at UTW, you will most likely soon come to the conclusion that UTW is a very progressive and well managed company and an enjoyable place to work. Ill give you a few examples to get you started twitter.com/hashtag/ twitter.com/BPFlatte twitter.com/fractalg | bennywin
15/6/2017 20:12 | glassdoor.co.uk is perhaps worth a look for comments from staff and former staff of utilitywise. | shawzie
15/6/2017 11:27 | cash flow problems | larva
15/6/2017 11:25 | And a view as to why UTW is a cracking punt at these prices. Scroll down to bottom of the article. www.investorschronic | bennywin
13/6/2017 18:56 | Todays drop probably due to this meeting where UTW were represented by John Ferris. www.policy-uk.com/ev | bennywin
13/6/2017 11:29 | Topped up. 6% yield covered 3x is a great entry point. Short term noise only | touche
13/6/2017 10:46 | Shocking sp, halved in 6months! Oh well it's only money... | ddubzy
13/6/2017 10:40 | But hammered so mirror image | nw99
13/6/2017 10:39 | TEP good figures | nw99
13/6/2017 10:25 | Why the continued slide here? | cupra kid
12/6/2017 16:50 | Cant say I am not concerned about this issue. Not impossible that someone shorts the share then lobbies the government to legislate in their favour. hxxps://www.linkedin | bennywin
12/6/2017 08:44 | I wonder how many of these customers UTW got. www.open-water.org.u | bennywin
05/6/2017 14:02 | I wonder if the suppliers cash advances were linked to targets for clients steered to them rather than competitors? This might explain why Brendan Flattery might have seen at least a conflict of interest or something more serious in the practice. In a way it would be a bit like Tesco took money from suppliers last year? Pure speculation but why would they pay UTW up front? UTW still sliding till next news ? GAN- has a few but not panicking (yet). Hope Woodford is up to speed | ganthorpe |
