The Board of Utilico Emerging Markets Trust plc (the "Company") announces that on 17 September 2018 the Company purchased for cancellation 185,576 ordinary shares of 1p each at a price of 196.34p per share. The lowest/highest price paid per share was 195.50p/196.50p respectively.

Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in issue in the Company is now 233,836,687.
