15/6/2007 16:24 | My calculation is $7.75= £3.95...a counter bid will now be made by China. This offer is far to cheap and Uramin know this fully, they have done it and agreed a price so that a counter bid can be made ......they like us want as much money as they can get £5.00 is a realistic price for all Uramin;s uranium potential. We and the whole world now know the agreed bid price which Uramin do not have to abide by....make way for CHINA they need the Uranium BADLY Next week will be very interesting indeed | sagem
15/6/2007 16:24 | I saw the large trades and reckon that Areva or (I hope) a potential rival is mopping up. It's tempting to sell at this level but if there is a counter bid SAGEM may get his wish! | simonbroughton
15/6/2007 16:19 | Did anyone notice those huge buys just gone through?? Something is going on... | liam1om
15/6/2007 16:10 | Martin: PI are still buying like mad amidst all the profit-takers. I have also sold more than half. But, according to my inexpertise on charting through Bigcharts. There seems to be a lot more room to go up yet considering MACD, DMI, and other indicators.... Seriously contemplating Sagem's last comment and will buy back asap.... -------------------- "SAGEM - 15 Jun'07 - 15:48 - 2331 of 2339 The bid has got to be £5.00 minimum. This has to be because of the Uranium worth plus future potential. THEY HAVE A MINE WHICH WILL BE PRODUCING IN 2008. Whats in that whole is worth a whole lot of cash because they are not looking for it they have got it with plenty more potential to produce from other mines where Uranium has already been detected, its always the little guy that sells at the bottom......are the big investors with large stakes selling.........CERT if they are I have seen no proof of this because they are buying. When I sell I take a profit a buy immediately again." -------------------- Could you please offer up a chart by end of day? Many thanks, pp | ppowerscourt
15/6/2007 16:08 | Sold out at £4.00, now thinking it wasnt such a good decision given that potential downside was only 7p and potential upside was as long as a piece of string. Oh well, at least it was a profit :\ | faridi786
15/6/2007 16:06 | And the price now is not really a 'small premium'...so yes, I agree simon, the market believes there'll be a counter-bid. Holding the balance for now. M | marnewton
15/6/2007 16:05 | My calculation is $7.75= £3.95...a counter bid will now be made by China. | sagem
15/6/2007 16:03 | Of all the Uranium miners I would want to buy it would be UMN because of its huge near term potential. I would be surprised if there is not a counter bid from someone. | simonbroughton
15/6/2007 15:59 | pap, Areva may have instructed their broker to scoop up as many shares as possible to 'spoil' a counter-bid...they'l SJM, thanks. And thanks to you fordtin, I've had KAH on my monitor for a while and will now do some due diligence...chart-wi M | marnewton
15/6/2007 15:59 | fordtin, good spot that, KAH. there was an announcement this morning, i think. thanx. just upped a very small amount... and waiting to see trend developing... also added some RAS (a totally different bread, i know - owing to a tip, but growth and cash just pours in and in, target 200p, soon'ish). | netsdeal
15/6/2007 15:58 | Netsdeal.......a good time to buy Summit then! ;-D | simonbroughton
15/6/2007 15:48 | The bid has got to be £5.00 minimum. This has to be because of the Uranium worth plus future potential. THEY HAVE A MINE WHICH WILL BE PRODUCING IN 2008. 15/6/2007 15:47 | thanks, liam. done it. Right or wrong. my thinking is that the West hasn't been confident or fair enough to sell assets to the Chinese (except treasury papers). So the Chinese talk was really just after the products, IMHO, not the company, to balance their trade deficit a bit. Looking at others, i don't want Paladin to come and fight with Areva - it'd be lose-lose; and it looks now SXR is unlikely to be ready to fight another battle. good luck to you though. | netsdeal
15/6/2007 15:37 | The difference is we already know other parties, in particular the Chinese, are interested. I will wait until the next bid or 4.30 which ever happens sooner. Good luck though, I hope you made a lot of cash :-) | liam1om
15/6/2007 15:29 | liam, not an advice or debate as such, but i'm selling as soon as it reaches 405, simply because it's my target worked out a month ago (said then it'd reach this level within a month on this BB, whilse most were predicting as high as 375). also, when Paladin entered the bid for Summit Resources, because of Areva's holding, the deal fell through and SMM's share price has since drifted down from A$6 to A$3.5.....i don't want to endure such here. i'm ready to sell, having held patiently for so long... | netsdeal
15/6/2007 15:27 | Sold entire position at 401p - almost 25% gain in 3 weeks. Now what's next ... | gbb483
15/6/2007 15:20 | No way am I selling yet, I'm waiting for atleast 4.30. | liam1om
15/6/2007 15:09 | Sold entire position at 400p. Took 30secs.I,m happy. | porker
15/6/2007 15:08 | Paladin, don't come please - we don't want to end up with another Summit Resources! come on, UMN, now nearly reaching my 405 target... you can do it! at least it's cash. i'm happy enough and could do with the cash to switch into canadian u shares, which are pretty beaten down at the moment... | netsdeal
15/6/2007 15:07 | Brinkley mining | sir josephs mate
15/6/2007 15:06 | They dont believe its a done deal in Canada. Up to C$8.4. I will come back to you on other U stocks Martin. | papillon
15/6/2007 15:04 | I've sold half at £4, by the way. Any recommendations as to other AIM uranium stocks worth a punt...I have some spare cash;@) I hold VML. URA pap? M (School run...back later.) | marnewton
15/6/2007 15:04 | Its common knowledge that other parties are interested in making a bid, even if they dont the share price should rise with the speculation. | liam1om
15/6/2007 15:03 | Surely Areva cant buy shares at more than their bid price Martin. | papillon |
