Urals Energy Takeover Rumours (UEN)

Chav, I'm afraid when someone own 45% of the shares in a company, they are the boss, whether we like it or not. That's why takeover codes kick in @30% to stop this sort of thing happening. SK, with the powers he has (which are substantial) may in fact be perfectly entitled to issue loans - that's one for the laywers. What's clear is that the BoDs, not having adopted a takeover code, have brought this upon themselves - they are now largely irrelevant, and have been for some time.

Kononov is part of the Company 'performance-related share scheme. LOL Kononov is not obliged to make an offer for the Company under the takeover code as UEN does not fall under a jurisdiction where it applies. That normally kicks in @30%, but UEN chose not to adopt a voluntary takeover code. Another great decision.

With present production levels and imminent dividend,these have £2 written all over them. Martyn, I'm thinking with no more delays with drilling (should have sorted it out by now, maybe they need to change the drill bit Lol) and work-overs news soon. I'm thinking £2.50 this time next year. Considering the assets and debt technically wiped, the cash generation. A takeover offer is a possibility, we have had one before. UEN is just so cheap, paying a Divi, low PE, Generating cash. Valuable assets.

MM taking The P!ss, again, 95 to buy any amount over a 100 and 83 to sell. No wonder the PE is low here, puts folk off buying in. Are they Greedy, or do they just need stock and don't want to pay for it. Should not be allowed!!! We need a Takeover offer, could well happen if the price stays low and the cash keeps building up.

I have put a question on Q&A asking why 5 years on from the hostile takeover bid by Fire East at 12.5p (£2.50)Why is the price today is only at 38% ( 96p) of that offer price.? I recall from the personal letter to all share holders homes at the time "We suggest you reject the offer as Ural Energy is worth much more than the £2.50 price offered " What happened Directors ???
