the clangers, I believe its scare tactics to influence Adler into sorting this out quickly, nothing more, nothing less.

they must be very worried now about their positions given Adler hold 44% of the company.

as I've said, if Adler can provide a better chance at a healthy return (not too hard given current boards past performance) then I'd be very willing to listen/back them if needed with my 2% holding

The total dividend that was announced was worth $783k, if they withhold this then in actual fact working capital is only reduced by $717k which is not a lot of cash!!

We have >$13million coming into the coffers in a matter of weeks for goodness sake!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is what's so worrying, only $1.5 and we get: The Board are of the opinion that if the Loan is not repaid, or alternative financing is not secured, by the end of the month then the Board will have to take steps to protect the interests of the Group's creditors.
Depending on the oil price, the proceeds from the next oil shipment could easily fluctuate $1.5 either way. The wording in the RNS seems to be over the top, considering the amount! Why so?

An over reaction and oversold imo, $1.5m darren isn't company threatening when you look at profit on the last shipment alone.Petreco will probually step in if required.

Agree darren81, an offer is coming, It's matter of how much though! Think they are all in it together! The assets are worth a lot of money, is producing 2000 bopd, where is the money from oil sales!

These figures speak volumes - why has only one director added any shares in the company in the last 10 years??? (The last purchase by him was 2.5 years ago!!

I reckon you may be right Darren. But at what price will they offer?
Makes you wonder if this was all deliberate to get the company on the cheap.

I own 2% of this company so not an inconsiderate amount! I would be very well prepared to back them instead of the current board if they deliver value.

He didn't give it away, we need to hear what the terms of the loan and the divestment were.

The current BODs have a proven track record of not delivering on their promises, constantly missing deadlines and messing up drills. They are just sitting back, collecting their salary and not doing anything of note (as the previous accounts show), the current level of production is a disgrace given the amount of time/money that's been put into drills. Perhaps Adler have gotten tired of waiting for the company to turn things around and are taking things into their own hands.

If they have a plan on how to take this company forward better than the current board whilst still being listed on AIM then I'd like to hear it.

Surely if it was an illegal loan and sale of shares it can be nullified. Surely there is the threat of jail if he or his family don't make good.

chav I sincerely suspect we will be the subject of an offer soon from Adler, they wont want the risk of one of their board's members being subjected to this

"investigate any related breaches of law or regulation"

They already hold 44.6% of the company so not a great stretch to take the remaining.

When something looks too good to be true, it always is. I never learn!
AIM is shrinking, No wonder, seems you can't trust anyone with your money!

Brave if buying now.. Might look cheap... quite a lot of debt on balance sheet from last accounts..
