Apart from rns costs money if there isn't anything to report then there's nothing to report. Like said earlier I think one good BANG of a report will have more effect than minor dribs and drabs.

Has for the spread I think it's way out of the norm. Folk have been getting 115p for sell and paying 124p to buy. Why the big discrepancy with other like priced shares?

they've given two updates in just over two weeks, how many are you hoping for Martyn?

drilling, by nature, isn't an exact science, it can take shorter/longer than expected. Hopefully we should get some news in next few weeks.

Worryng about no updates in the last few days isn't going to do much good for sentiment - nor your health.

Let's give them a bit of time to deliver on what they've promised, they definitely seem to have turned a new leaf here.

Anyone noticed the terrible spread here? Percentage wise I think it's at least 3x what it should be and been like that since the change. One - one and a half pence up or down from mid would seem about right to me. This spread would put me off.

Guys, along with UEN I like FRP and SDX in the oil space. completely out of the market at present for the first time in 15 years almost apart from 10000 XLM and UEN in the SIPP. Not sure if we've seen the bottom for oil as yet. And also the Dow could do with the froth coming off.

Yep, and the book looks balanced but down it's gone. Trying to stir some action I reckon.

As to HUR djm, the fall is as sector related as any other O&G play IMHO since we too are down 30% from peaks, as the price per barrel has fallen.

Exactly the reverse of the November to February cruise up.

If they have any company specific reasons in addition no doubt the RNS trail will tell us, but, as with UEN, that doesn't appear to be the case and we just need fresh impetus/news.

Good one Greg. Off topic do I remember correctly that you said you were invested in HUR?
It's been on my watch-list for a while but I thought I had missed the boat after the Halifax well results and subsequent presentation... I haven't looked in since early May but noticed today that the share-price has dropped almost 50% in the last few months... any idea why and is it still a strong buy in your opinion?

End of July was the voting or, rather, official clearance for the dividend payment approval which, of course, is a headline grabber and corporate action that should influence the share price positively.

Nevertheless, the 2P reserves and drill updates are what bring in the fresh money for many and no doubt a purchase/acquisition/JV is in the air...

In my view when news does come it will be a bumper release rather than in bribs and drabs which I think will have better effect share price wise.

I think it will kick it on better in the first instant and make for a sustained level.

In 30th March RNS, reserves update 'expected' to be completed in June. I think we all know from past experience 'expected' does not always work to plan. So your mid July, downsize might be correct by the time the report has been finalised and ready to be given public release.

Drilling from 23rd May RNS

For Komi

"it is expected that the target depth will be achieved by early July 2017 and completion will occur some two to three weeks later ". So it is fair to say its going to be early August before hear real news of Komi

Petrosakh

"The Company expects to reach the target depth by mid-June 2017". So this should be are next bit of news, possibly accompanied by the reserves update if there has been no delays.

There seems to be a lot of anticipation about this Allenby note. I'm really not sure what impact on share price ( if any )people are expecting as a result of the note. The days of people rushing in to buy based on a brokers note are long gone. As you say Topical it will however provide good guidance.

Still waiting for some 'corporate' action that will take this to a new level.

.... and so far all consolidation seems to have done is stifled trade, we still have that 'spread'. Lets hope there is some underlying corporate action behind it as the current poor liquidity will not help the market for these shares. Once you take out, Schvets, the management and Petraco, there's about 6.6 M shares in free float and that includes all the shares being currently held by pi's.

Cheers Calm, though why they can't say the note is nearly finished or half done, or whatever, seems churlish to me.

It is only in-house guidance after all!

i have spoken to Allenby regarding the research note but market rules prohibit them from telling us much...but i'm guessing the note is in process and will be released(they promised to send me when this is done) when we get the updates on reserves and drilling.

You guys who met the BoD representatives and the Allenby fella, are you still in touch or able to contact anyone regarding the complete radio silence on the plans and strategems that were touted?

Any reason why they've let the value slip 25% since they met you? Inaction or just a case of delays? Have they not promised Allenby would issue a short note before a full report update on UEN was issued?

That should be possible within five weeks!

The problem is that Urals Energy were given the wrong share mnemonic it should have been WAIT. L The calm before the storm. Let's hope it's a positive storm and not a Thunderbolt and Lightning, Very Very Frightening. (Galileo) one.
