Compared to the other 2 it is a long shot but they need something positive soon and not just a new CEO because that will not help the share price unless he is a big-hitter in the o&g sector

The market didn't hammer the company. I suspect one or more holders bailed as like most of the rest of us they are balled off with this pile of excrement.

I agree but I don't think that was factored into the price and not a priority for the company. Surprised BOIL was up on news and UPL was hammered!... the market never fails to surprise Saouaf and Sarawak are the big ones for Upland IMO. They need to deliver meaningful progress on these 2 projects over the next couple of months and this is now, for all intent and purpose, their last throw of the dice

I guess it simply means that they retain their right to anonymity now they have left. If the data analysis now belongs to the JV, it could be shared with any new interested parties, but it looks like that might be a very short queue indeed.

It is frustrating when you have to try and untangle an RNS which should be phrased to make matters clear.I take it that the large European E&P Company ("Interested Party") has walked away at the end of the exclusivity period. Is any other interpretation possible?

My money's on a big fat zero for IMF. Don't know why, just got that UPL feeling that what we are actually waiting for is the same as it has been for a long time, which is the Sarawak rabbit to jump out of the hat into the very relieved Chairman's lap.
