I fear the worst here for both Univision shares and Leader Smart Holdings. The former is just the way of life but the latter smells and is not nice at all - ask yourself, have we been robbed? By that, I'm not pointing at HL however their action looks...

At the moment there are concerns about Leader Smart Holdings Limited. This concern is over the registration of Leader Smart Holding and its cancellation. The registration of Leader Smart Holdings Limited and its LIVE still trading position.
The matter needs clarification at best and Mr Stephen Sin Mo Koo appears one of very few who are aware of the situation.

There is a big difference between ii and HL. ii do listen and appear on the side of an investor and quite helpful even compensating freely. The reverse is the case with HL. I had considered putting a sum into one of HLs high interest accounts - after all this, I'm looking elsewhere.

I'm not sure at all about Laws in Hong Kong on companies going into administration. In Australia, it can be reversed even after administrators have been appointed. In one case a further review by A.S.I.C. ruled that the company should never have been put into administration in the first place. So maybe there is hope if the Administrators themselves say Administration should not have occurred.

The proof that HL are wrong about Leader Smart is that there IS a company which was dissolved in 2018, and when I challenged them for evidence they sent me a link to a page about that company, but it's NOT OUR COMPANY. Its name is different.

It's not the first time HL have made a mistake with my accounts and doubled down when challenged, but it's the first time it's been over something this serious. I think they have a culture problem. There's an arrogance in the way they deal with customers - the way they kept on promoting Neil Woodford's funds even after problems started to emerge is another example.

I hope we'll have an announcement from UVEL explaining the position and the way forward. I can't believe Mr Koo will let his company disappear, but is there some sort of appeal? Will the company be sold as a going concern? If so, will Mr Koo try to buy it out of receivership? IIRC the MTR corporation still owes us money for work completed, and maybe compensation for terminating the contract. If that would be enough to pay these debts, but MTR are delaying coming to a resolution, maybe they will owe us compensation for wrecking our company.

I gave them proof they were wrong, but their last reply to me just said I hadn't shown them anything and they were sure they were right, so I've made a formal complaint. I haven't even had an acknowledgement. If I was running a complaints desk I would reply to any complaint with an immediate acknowledgement that it had been received. I suppose they might be sending it by post although I submitted the complaint by email.

The next step is the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Still waiting for that. Anyway, they get eight weeks to sort it out. If they stick to their nonsense or don't reply in eight weeks it goes to the ombudsman.

If you’re unhappy with the firm's decision, or you don't hear from them in the right time frame, the  Financial Ombudsman Service may be able to help.

I sent a message to Hargreaves Lansdown with proof positive the company still exists. If it gets nowhere I will escalate to their Complaints Department and await events.
I'm not sure what others are doing exactly.

I can see we must go first via the complaints procedure.

Hopefully, SK will carry knowledge to Leader Smart Holdings Limited ( Hargreaves Lansdown thinks they are bust). He will have had a great deal of time to get things together. What happens to the sum of the parts might be interesting.

I hesitate to ask Mr Koo to help sort out Hargreaves L's incompetence. He must be very busy these days. From what I've seen of him he's probably trying all-out to rescue something from the fire.

It will be interesting to see if Chairman Stephen Koo can somehow concentrate on Leader Smart Holdings though we still have problems with Hargreaves Lansdown who appears to think Leader Smart Holdings has also been liquidated. Hopefully, Mr Koo can help us out here ( those with Hargreaves Lansdown that is ). Or maybe one of us can help LSH from here in the UK, who knows?

It is a sad day though I mustn't grumble as I did well on the runup in 2017. I guess there are a lot of companies claiming so it is best to see it as a complete loss for shareholders.

Oh. I feel sorry for Mr Koo, he put a lot into the company. I wonder if we'll get any return. If not, there's always Leader Smart.
