31/5/2019 13:39 | Probably trading on an historical p/e ratio of less than 4. If last year's dividend payout ratio of 20% is maintained, dividend this year should be about 1.1 HK cents, ie 0.11p, for a dividend yield of about 5%. I'm assuming profits in H2 were roughly the same as H1. | tim000
31/5/2019 09:58 | Yes, stroke of luck and a hunch something pos+ will happen! | 113mike
31/5/2019 09:32 | That was clever timing last night Mike. When I tried to get some more they wanted 2.05. I wish I'd taken it anyway now. The long term chart, the right hand one at the top of this board, shows a clear upward trend since the big spike two years ago. | zangdook
31/5/2019 08:58 | Substantially ahead of expectations! Like it! | 113mike
31/5/2019 08:57 | Excellent news arrives on seen. 380% profits rise in first half set for full year - exceedingly cheap under 4p. | noirua
31/5/2019 08:57 | nice RNS. looking good imho! | 113mike
30/5/2019 18:13 | I'm in, again! 195k @ .0195! was in a year or two ago. picked up a nice div then. All to play for. GLA! | 113mike
30/5/2019 13:04 | Trading 1.85p - 1.95p. Watch out trading early on in the day as some MMs put up bids and offers well after the start. Doesn't matter that much as the shares are worth up to 12p - not my analysis just read the link following: Univision Analyses: | noirua
29/5/2019 16:04 | There should be news soon, with any luck that'll give us a boost. | zangdook
29/5/2019 11:38 | It does indeed look as if that trade was a kinda flip. Still wanting 1.95p buy 1.81p sell - true spread 7.18%. No trades for some time. Still, I've made my point previously and no one cares. | noirua
23/5/2019 15:18 | (duplicate) | zangdook
23/5/2019 14:55 | I think yesterday's two large trades are a bed & isa or similar moving between accounts. If you calculate the total price of each trade, the difference is £10 - presumably the broker's commission. The MM did a little better at £37.50. | zangdook
22/5/2019 12:53 | Some quite heavy selling early this afternoon at about 1.81p though MMs still wanting 1.95p - a real spread of 8%. Good luck to the seller though hopefully from our point of view it will prove not to have been the best move. The present yield at 1.9p is about 2.25% which will hopefully be raised on the sharply improved profitability. The HK$ remains strong against the £ - a satisfactory factor. | noirua
21/5/2019 13:23 | Profits last year to 31 March 2018 -- Turnover from continuing operations increased by 18.5%* to GBP5.6m (2017: GBP4.8m); -- Gross profit margin for continuing operations remained stable at 32% (2017: 34%); -- Current ratio for continuing operations remained at 1.8 (2017: 1.8); -- Profit before income tax from continuing operations was GBP735K (2017: GBP452K); -- Earnings per share from continuing operations were to 0.19p (2017: 0.11p); and -- Proposed final dividend HK0.43 cents (approx. 0.0389 pence) per share. Profits six months to 30 September 2018 -- Profit attributable to the equity holders increased 391% to HK$10.6m ( H1 2017: HK$2.1m ); -- Revenue increased by 187% to HK$66.8m for continuing operations ( H1 2017: HK$23.2m ); -- Positive cash generated from operations HK$6m ( H1 2017: -HK$6.4m ). 12 March 2019 However, the effect of entering into this Loan Agreement is to provide sufficient asset backing for the Group, to allow EMSD to lift this temporary suspension and allow the Group, once again, to be able to tender for new government contracts offered by the Hong Kong Government Works Branch. For the avoidance of doubt, this temporary suspension did not relate to any work that the Group continues to undertake on the replacement works of the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) systems for numerous railway lines of MTRC in Hong Kong. The Company has entered into an HK$ 3 million, interest free, loan with UniVision Holdings Limited. UniVision Holdings Limited owns 47.9% of the issued share capital of the Company and is wholly owned by Stephen Koo. Including a previous loan of HKD1.2 million, made in year 2017, the total amount owed to UniVision Holding Limited is now HKD 4.2 million. It is a condition of EMSD that the HKD 3 million loan announced today may not be reduced or repaid to the lender without EMSD's prior permission. Stephen Koo, Executive Chairman, commented: "I am delighted that this loan to the Company has enabled it to resume tendering for new work from the Hong Kong Government Works Branch as it has been able to do in the past." | noirua
20/5/2019 15:45 | We certainly receive very few RNSs from Univision Engineering. Some companies issue more in one month than UVEL do in one year. Someone is missing a trick here to put it politely. I'm tempted at times to put out a few non-RNSs myself as the company has so much to tell everyone about. | noirua
16/5/2019 10:24 | HK$ at 10.07 to £sterling. Rate was about HK$10.22 at year end 31 March 2019. | noirua
15/5/2019 15:56 | Added some more shares today as my feeling is the share price wont stay under 2p to buy very much longer. Market cap at £7.29 million appears awfully low. PE ratio at 10 is on last years earnings and if profits in the second half year continued well it may be nearer 3 or lower. The company is able to tender for more HK Government contracts but too soon to make any further announcements, I would think. | noirua
13/5/2019 16:29 | Late trade reported as expected from last week, 1,500,000 at 1.8p = £27,000. Hopefully a trading update shortly - no point commenting until it arrives. Previous Years: 29/4/2015 31/5/2016 31/3/2017 24/4/2018 | noirua
10/5/2019 15:09 | May have been a late trade pushing the price down to 1.85p from 2.05p. An opportunity there and still open under 2p. Hopefully an update due very soon. | noirua
09/5/2019 22:32 | Last year's trading update was on 24 April. Annual Results on 24 August. Univision doesn't have many announcements so trading is light and a few sell out of boredom. On the other hand very many are glued to their shares. | noirua
09/5/2019 14:42 | Any ideas when we can expect a trading update (for the annual results)? | tim000
07/5/2019 12:34 | Flawless balance sheet and undervalued. Univision Analyses: | noirua
02/5/2019 20:49 | let's keep it UVEL! no spam plse | 113mike
29/4/2019 11:28 | UVEL's year ended on 31 March 2019. The news to come should be good. | noirua |
