I can't believe Mr Koo will let his company disappear, but is there some sort of appeal? Will the company be sold as a going concern? If so, will Mr Koo try to buy it out of receivership? IIRC the MTR corporation still owes us money for work completed, and maybe compensation for terminating the contract. If that would be enough to pay these debts, but MTR are delaying coming to a resolution, maybe they will owe us compensation for wrecking our company. |

Posted at 16/10/2023 11:08 by noirua On 16 October 2023, the Company was ordered to be wound up by The High Court of Hong Kong SAR in HCCW 323/2023 and the Official Receiver was appointed as the Provisional Liquidator of the Company by virtue of her office.Winding up by the Court and Appointment of Provisional Liquidator UniVision (AIM: UVEL), the Hong Kong based group whose principal activities are the supply, design, installation and maintenance of closed-circuit television (CCTV) and surveillance systems, and the sale of security related products, announces that the Winding up petition brought against it by one of its sub-contractors, namely, KML Engineering Limited , which was first announced on 28 July 2023, was heard by the High Court of Hong Kong SAR today. |
Posted at 11/10/2023 17:20 by noirua I have had no trouble with ii whatsoever.HL in their last response asked me to provide Director contact details which I will do this evening. When ii made mistakes they credited me with £25.00 and £50.00 without any request. On the latter occasion, I thought it was my fault for failing to cancel a Canadian order so they were very good about that. It is however swings and roundabouts as HL have no monthly charges and lower currency exchange costs. ii lower share transaction charges and allow trading in more countries. HL is not a Direct Broker like ii and that might be a hidden problem with the UVEL holding. |
Posted at 27/9/2023 12:04 by noirua As a result of not being able to publish its Annual Report and Accounts by 29 September 2023 in accordance with AIM Rule 19, trading in the Company's ordinary shares on AIM will be suspended from 7.30am on Monday 2 October 2023.The Company aims to complete its audit and publish its annual report as soon as possible, after which trading in the Company's ordinary shares is expected to recommence. Notwithstanding the temporary suspension of trading in the Company's ordinary shares, the Company will continue to make announcements as and when there are developments that requirement announcement in accordance with its obligations under the AIM Rules for Companies. |
Posted at 04/7/2023 23:38 by noirua The share price moves sharply up and down with no large trades to be seen. So it's not possible to be sure where the price goes very short term. If a 5 million share trade comes in the Market Makers will be in abject shock and will fall off their chairs. |

Posted at 25/7/2020 15:19 by noirua My original call was for UVEL shares to fall in the range 0.9p - 1.2p when they were 2.0p a share. If the matter concerning Leader Smart Holdings is fully resolved, confidence will rise and trust in the management. At that point a share price between 1.4p - 1.8p is likely. If the directors can't be bothered or something is wrong, then the UVEL share price I see in the range 0.7p - 1p. |
