It's not particularly odd that a director should sell, even though the connotations are usually negative for the share price However, the worrying factor here is rather the low price of the transaction. One would have thought that a measured unloading could have got a better price, or perhaps a negotiated deal with an institution. One has to hope the reason was the director's very urgent need for ~£262k to close a property deal that allowed no time.

As it is, my view of what might be a bargain price to add some more has to be limited to no more than 8p pro tem.

I see Tank has tanked the price by dropping 3.5m. He's only been on the Board for 18 weeks..Nice one Tank!

Oh and btw, he was previously responsible for TQIPS Limited which was placed into Administration on 15 July 2011 with an estimated deficiency as regards creditors of GBP4.7 million - Great appointment guys!

Thats the good news.

The bad is that he has another 10.5m....

Hopefully the seller is moving shares to fill an order via MM`s. The trading statement on the 18th was very positive, would seem strange to sell UNG shares at this time other than to fill an order MM`s rule remember IMHO.

Yup, that would explain the drop. As everyone is aware I'm sure, Alto has been selling down over the past 12 months. Hopefully the end is in sight...spud

LOL, it was an online quote through HL. IMHO they are very efficient administrators but unlikely to achieve the keen prices provided by full service brokers, who I suspect might get a lot closer to the bid price.

Alto have definitely been a drag on the price over the past 12 months. If they are the ONLY sellers of this AND they have finished, then this could be a very good time to buy. Either way, my top up points have always been below 9p ('cos I'm greedy ;))

Announced yesterday:-" Universe announces that it has received notice that funds managed by Alto Invest hold, in aggregate, 7,227,400 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the capital of the Company. This represents 3.1% of the total voting rights of the Company". They have reduced from 23m.
