07/4/2015 11:00 | They are knitting together a rather useful catch everything retail software provider in the convenience store sector which is actually the fastest growth area in retail. No doubt scale is everything and the big boys only take you seriously if the company behind the product looks to be big and secure too as they have to depend on you being there for them long term.
Results are next week and I am having a presentation so I should be able to get any questions answered then. I am also trying to get them to www.melloevents.com/mello-workshop/ once they are finally out of the closed period. | davidosh
07/4/2015 10:34 | An error and I will delete - sorry. | lanzarote666

Interesting link into the broader mobile payments world of Apple and others. | ironstorm
07/4/2015 09:21 | Lanzarote666 - If your revenue figure for Spedi is correct, it is rather larger than UNG which has historic revenue (2013-14) of about £16m although this should now have grown by acquisitions and added contracts. [EDIT: See 312, below.]
I assume Spedi has been a private or unlisted company - or is it connected with a continental operation of similar name? I have not established what connection it has or may have had with the ailing Norcon company. Was it a sometime spin-off?
It is strange that the mode of acquisition (cash, paper, rto?) is obscure. Many question and no answers yet. We need more information on this. | boadicea
07/4/2015 07:25 | I'm sure all will be revealed with Results that are due in a few days.spud | spud
07/4/2015 07:18 | Very strange that no cost of the deal is provided. At the last results issue UNG did not have a great deal of cash in the bank, so does this mean a share issue will be involved. | dealit

07/4/2015 06:33 | Unsure. From what details they have provided, it does seem extremely complementary.spud | spud
07/4/2015 06:21 | No financial details regarding this acquisition. Do we assume it's a cash deal, | thepopeofchillitown
29/3/2015 20:10 | They presented at Mello Central at FinnCap in September 2012 so that was before the new management and growth plans. | davidosh
29/3/2015 20:02 | Thanks, They'll be a great addition to the lineup, have they presented to Mello in the past? | cockerhoop
29/3/2015 19:49 | I am expecting the results to be just after the Easter break so that should be perfect timing for Peterborough. We have a great line up of companies but I do want to add UNG into the mix. | davidosh
29/3/2015 19:42 | David,
Results normally due late March/early April, from your conversations regards the invite to Peterborough do you anticipate the results being a little later this year? | cockerhoop
29/3/2015 19:33 | Let's hope the exposure gets the share price moving. So far I have been extremely patient with this one hoping it will break out from the 8p resistance. | red army
29/3/2015 19:16 | If you are keen on small caps and quality companies where you will be able to meet the directors then you should come to the Mello investor workshops event as we will have at least 30 there. hTTp://melloevents.com/news/
Universe have been invited and they will be presenting to investors at this event or my monthly dinner event as soon as the results are released. | davidosh
29/3/2015 19:01 | This has dropped completely out of the picture on advfn and as such the share price could be expected to sag. In the circumstances it is holding very well and should respond strongly on any good news. | boadicea
02/2/2015 22:29 | Thorne3,
Agree the option holder was S Mcleod, his exercise period for 4.2m of those options started on 26th Jan so wasting no time.
Regards the 7m sold - if all the same seller should be notified in time as over 3%. S Mcleod held just over 5m shares outright so prob not him. | cockerhoop
02/2/2015 16:14 | Has anybody any idea who today's big seller of 7m shares might be? The option holder who's exercised on 4.5m shares is most certainly Mcleod, former CO. | thorne3
30/1/2015 12:13 | Yup, it's got 10p short term, written all over it imo.

29/1/2015 16:40 | Very quiet share for weeks, then some large trades turn up this afternoon - not huge but larger than most pi's would put into a mini-stock like this ....
... unless they think they know rather more than we do! | boadicea
22/1/2015 08:40 | Directors incentivised @ 10p, so that's a minimum I'm looking at 6 months down the track (Market permitting) spud | spud
22/1/2015 00:00 | Consolidating nicely in the 7 - 7.5p range. | boadicea
15/1/2015 21:05 | I see a much improved website since I visited last (early last year). Some interesting contract wins. Looks about time the company declared a dividend though. | mrx9000
06/1/2015 17:19 | I wonder if the tesco's situation ie ditching systems for cash has presented any opportunities?? | red army
06/1/2015 15:01 | Maybe a shortage of stock hence the share price moving North. | dealit
