10/12/2014 08:51 | Just biding its time. Still not reached the peaks of 97/98 yet. I reckon this has further to go in the next few months. | darias
09/12/2014 16:40 | Well timed those who got out over £9 - looks like time to buy back in soon? I held most and never hit my 921 limit sell. | wad collector
04/12/2014 09:36 | Took some profit on this this morning, and lightened up in a biggish way. Still retain some but have had a great run this last year. | brahmsnliszt
03/12/2014 10:12 | Didn't notice the results last week! 25/11/2014 11:08 | I would think that the downside risk is greater than the upside, at these prices, given that the regulator has been told to play hard ball in the review. | redartbmud
25/11/2014 10:59 | am out now too will look again later GL all | ttg100
21/11/2014 11:27 | Bought £6k of this today. | dt1010
20/11/2014 09:27 | Probably good timing. Nothing worse than watching a paper gain slip away.. | wad collector
19/11/2014 15:38 | I'm out at 911.5. This has had too good a run for it to continue (famous last words), it's bound to retrace at some stage and better value on offer elsewhere. Up from 646 since last December, so I cannot complain at all. | lord gnome
19/11/2014 13:36 | Couldn't help myself - 921 limit sell for a quarter of mine. Look like some buying opportunities elsewhere at the moment. | wad collector
19/11/2014 09:27 | The trader in me is getting an itchy finger this morning as we approach a new high , but the brain is telling me to hold longer. | wad collector
18/11/2014 12:49 | The next five years could be a watershed for U.K. utilities. With regulator Ofwat scheduled to reveal its final decision on price controls for water and sewerage companies in December, and with companies likely to announce new dividend policies in early 2015, there should be five years of revenue and dividend visibility for U.K. water companies, says Deutsche Bank. Recommends investors buy United Utilities (UU.LN) and Severn Trent (SVT.LN), forecasting average investor returns over 2015-20 of 7.3% and 6.6%, versus peer group returns of about 6%. But downgrades Pennon Group (PNN.LN) to hold from buy, reflecting the strong increase in its share price, and DB's worries around long-term risks to merchant energy from waste plant revenues (END) Dow Jones Newswires | fangorn2

18/11/2014 07:59 | Yes, a nice little run before it goes ex-div next month. Should finally see us above £9.00. | lord gnome
17/11/2014 23:18 | Looking at the graphs , hard to imagine this is not going to break £9 again soon. | wad collector
11/11/2014 20:26 | Nice comment wad. | philo124
11/11/2014 16:25 | Thanks both. I have held some UU for at least 20 yrs , and I remember noticing , during some of the lows of the previous decade when UU was my only holding at a profit , that I would have been well advised to only ever buy UU and no other stocks. Less true last few yrs though . | wad collector
11/11/2014 13:54 | No worries Wad. UU been up and down as Phil says - down whenever Millipede opens that trap of his. You've played it well. Which is all that matters. Not back in yet myself. Great company though. | fangorn2
11/11/2014 12:44 | I couldn't recall the previous bid rumour companies . | wad collector
11/11/2014 12:27 | Last week? That £11/sh Canadian pension fund bid rumour has been around for 6 months at least. :) | fangorn2
11/11/2014 12:22 | Wow! , that is a sharp rise today , up 12p in last hr to 880p. There was a bid rumour last week about a Canadian pension fund offering £11 a share , but that was last week not today. Going to ping my limit sell within the next few mins by the look of things. | wad collector
07/11/2014 10:20 | Limit sell set for 881 for some of mine. 10% in 5 weeks would be tempting... | wad collector
14/10/2014 19:02 | Looks like it found firm support around 800 and hopefully we can now press on again. | lord gnome |
