My opinion FWIW is that it is LT retail holders selling out after 18 months of no price appreciation despite the very positive progress. However, investors measure a Company’s success on price appreciation and dividends paid neither of which has been delivered for a long time now given most AIM investors have a “hold” strategy of less than 1-2 months on average or often 1-2 days sometimes!

Ok let's disagree but put it to rest Soul ! I forgot to add that also market makers play a short book when they see liquidity tailing off

We'll have to agree to disagree snickerdog.
I fail to believe this has been PIs selling down for over the last 6months.
It does not make sense for it to be PIs especially following on from the conference call.

Soulsauce. There hasn't been a lot of buying that's all, it's not one seller, I have an account with the house broker too and speak to them regularly. They know to call the other clients if they have sellers occasionally I get offered little bits of stock and pick it up

You don't see the large seller because there is not the liquidity to sell large amounts in to.

This has been continuous for months on end and shows more on days of big liquidity after news.

The consistency x length of activity = big seller. Imo

There has been a downtrend yes but I don't see a large seller on the market maker order book it looks to me like retail punters (odd bit not round numbers also account for this)

I think it's p*ssing everyone off mr.oz.
The question who is the large seller, why are they off loading and how many do they have left.

As the BoD said in the conference call the falling share price makes it more difficult to use paper when doing the deals.

All very odd.

Couldn't resist a small top up this morning, the share price just doesn't represent what the co has in terms of opportunities and I think a half decent rns will see this back in the 4's.

Money Sponge has written up some notes on the conference call on Twitter, quite useful as I remember it being a long call, I think there's thread as well:

#UOG investor call - 100% affirms why I am invested despite general market

CEO & COO give a solid update and I remain convinced that a mid cap company is in the making here with a little patience

I don't think there's any mystical powers at play here, it's just the nature of investment, more people have decided to sell than buy at the moment. Checking the share price everyday and expecting daily movement is a distressing thing to do as a long term investor imo. I can't/won't speak for traders. The company is in a fantastic position and better value will be attributed over time.

Yes it is annoying and until it stops or I find a reason for it I won't be topping up.

I have a good holding and thus would rather pay more than today to have some assurance of what is happening with the share price

That's the $64000 question wiseacre. There appears to have been a big seller, beyond that who knows.

The share price was marked down unfairly on the Colter result also.

No problems according to yesterday's conference call.

Debz, obviously hedged to an extent with production lines upfront from two assets plus inherent value in portfolio. Plus cash of 4m
