Colter just one small part of the UOG story. The bigger picture is the driver here for me....

Hmmm a bit of a gooley dropped on sighting of the well and now more expense to side track but more pay found.

Bit of a neutral for me at the moment but hope market sees it positively and hope the sidetrack finds the original target pay.

Hopefully Colter oil find will now see the beginning of a well overdue re-rate for UOG.

The selling is due to a shareholder

1) derisking b4 the Colter drill result

2) a holder not happy with the AIM move

3) a holder decision to cash in the profits (and also to derisk)

Now for a rise, we need: the seller to stop and/or the drilling result
Life is simple, let's not make it too complicated, lol

and the chart which did point at 4p:

Look at the AIM Schedule 1 release it says no capital raising will be done. It's a legal document scroll down on link belowhttps://www.investegate.co.uk/aim/rns/schedule-one-update---united-oil---gas-plc/201902201530016520Q/

Yes alamaison I think a very dim view would be taken of a raising right now especially as Brian has assured so many that the move to Aim is all to do with liquidity and saving money.

soulsauce: I've also saw that message.
You are 100% right.
Brian said it was hilarious and that he didn't get close to a broker for months.
Also that he felt like a celebrity now that people recognise him in the street.
No placing...I wouldn't be here otherwise :-), trust me on that!

Mustbefunny according to a poster on lse Brian flatly ruled out a placing in answer to the twitter rumours.

The selling is nothing new it's been going on for months but as I say I wonder if it has gathered pace this week ahead of the Colter result.

I'm putting 2 and 2 together and getting placing at 3.5 - 4p to go with aim move and 'transitional deal' . Finding it hard to fathom the persistent selling otherwise. Surely at current price company is worth a lot more even without Colter.

alamaison wtf are you on about. Read my post again, I have mixed nothing up you top hat.

It is quite feasible that some were hoping for some upside from the Jamaica cpr to sell in to to derisk for Colter. It didn't come so they have took some off the table anyway.

Bit of a nightmare here at the moment. Can only think folk were waiting for the Jamaica cpr to derisk for Colter.

COLTER:

98/11-1 structure is well placed for oil charge via
the 98/11-2 fault block

On the Colter drill...

Should hit target depth next week as spudded Feb 6 and

"The well is expected to take around three weeks to reach a planned total depth of 1,830 meters"

which takes us to next Wednesday.
