This is just coming up on people's radar. Took an initial holding a few days ago. Like the way the management team don't hang about. Results in the bag already after only a few months since company formation.

Latest research note from Barney Gray at Optiva Securities has added a further 3.7p to his recent valuation taking his total upside figure to 15.4p assuming this new option to farm in Acle is exercised. At 5p-6p this share is seriously undervalued!! 10p minimum as a near term target imho! Good luck everyone..!!

The Acle prospect is targeting 216 BCF gross with a 58% chance of success. Excellent progress, a clever deal structure with low option costs.

Just listened to PXOG part of podcast where stated 1750boepd today Vs 625boepd expected and so suggested today's result three times better than expected which adds up!

Has anyone here converted the C2 + C1 flow rates to boepd?
I make it (148136+129658) * 0.00629 = 1747boepd (but happy to be corrected) which doesn't seem bad if that flow rate can be maintained given on land close to infrastructure. UOG has a 20% interest. The UOG part of the podcast stated 180 boepd net to UOG but that sounds to be just for C2 based on the above calculation and UOG's 20% interest.
Bought in today given small mcap and potential of all prospects.

Just listened to the podcast - Brian Larkin sounds ambitious.

Tullow let UOG farm-in into 20% of Jamaica on good terms... someone in Tullow clearly likes them!

That Jamaican deal will become really exciting as the year moves on.

I have to say that I'd have thought that a nice gas find that will introduce cashflow to the business would have been received a bit better than up by just 5%. We could end up evens today yet!

Anyhow, the gas discovery is good news and helps to support the share price.

UOG has had a bit of a good run over the last few months. Next news is a while off (not long really, but for some, a while) so sell now and move profits to the next tradable, news-imminent share in O&G, pharma or wherever.

UOG will carry on up with upcoming drilling and news from Jamaica, etc., but it may have to mark time around this level for a while.

Peculiar muted reaction both here and at PXOG to a lesser extent (although that had dropped down before today's news).
They both raised recently so what's the problem?

The shareprice has has a good run up over the past few months so it's not surprising to see some holders exit on this news. They may buy back lower or move off elsewhere, but the momentum is with this company now.
