13/11/2020 12:26 | Well it may but you must have a thought as to where we are going to get several Tcfs of gas from as it is a big call. Jamaica is a possibility but high risk and a lot of hoops to jump through before we even get a drill planned but it would still not be a Txp as it will be offshore with all the infrastructure required. | soulsauce
13/11/2020 11:03 | Time will tell friend | sbb1x

12/11/2020 15:38 | Don't accept that sorry. There is no enthusiasm at Kav or it would not be £5m mkt cap. £7m now with the raising. It's not gold they are looking for. And the Uog raising was for a 'transformational asset' before the full Covid downturn. At the end of the day he raised a full 25% below suspension level. Genius. | soulsauce
12/11/2020 15:13 | KAV is quite a different beast. It's an unusual story, and there's enthusiasm ATM for mining explo, especially metals for the 'green revolution'. Whereas oil is still pretty much down and out. The Egypt deal was well structured, enabling UOG to come out of the crisis pretty much unscathed. If oil had stayed at $60 and with production now at 1975 boepd vs 1100 at the time the deal was struck, you'd be congratulating 'Larkers'. | swanvesta
12/11/2020 12:20 | My point was TCE, Uog were in a lot better position to get a good placing away by taking on a transformational asset than the position Kav were in to raise for drilling yet the latter managed to do it without moaning about Brexit or in this case Covid or anything else when we all know it was poor excuses by Larkin. Regarding Jamaica we are still awaiting the cpr, still awaiting gas connection in egypt and still awaiting the revised drilling plan. | soulsauce
12/11/2020 12:10 | Watch ya soulsauce LSE:UOG and LSE:KAV are 2 very different natural resources beasts! With regards to LSE:UOG it has seriously under performed in recent times for various reasons but if the oil price does recover next year plus the company generally keep the BS away and just do what it says on the can [and for a change under promise and then over deliver] then the share price should go to 7.5p+ Perhaps if a decent farm in happens with Jamaica then LSE:UOG could go higher at least 10p+ | the chairman elect |
