some downward pressure in anticipation of the Finals. It's frustrating, if Bramhill had a reputation for being honest, straightforward and transparent the share price would be higher, instead we have a serial ramper/liar as CEO so trust has evaporated and everyone assumes the worst...

in June 2022 when DB was last up for re-election, he had 19.24m for and 1.12m against.
I think it's unlikely we will be able to vote him out, but we may get a few million against

If Egdon don't want to drill a sidetrack then unfortunately it's not going to happen. It'll be the same for any new owner. The Joint Operating Agreement may well give the right to "sole risk" (Drill at 100% cost) the drilling of a well, however unless the target is clearly distinct and separate from the existing accumulation the party not drilling the well may claim some of their existing oil will be produced. Besides UJO is not currently qualified to undertake drilling operations and so would need to either ask Egdon to do it or find someone who is. Can't see how selling the licence really changes this situation. The revenue stream at 15-20bpd is about £250k per year pre tax , which at least helps keep the lights on.

As far as I know, Keddington is the only onshore site with all the permissions in place to drill - something the JV has claimed would be done "this year" for the last 3 years. Perhaps this question is premature as the Finals are imminent:

If Egdon can't or won't drill the sidetrack, should the PEDL be sold to someone who will?

The results should be out next Monday 19th. In the last three years it's always been the third Monday of May - 16th/15th and 20th.They're currently in a close period so only strictly necessary RNS's can be released. Commentary on X relating to the company's activities would be a no no.

Wressle consultation ended 17/03

next Planning meeting 28/05, agenda published a week before - probably too soon for Wressle, maybe June meeting?

And infact 10000 jobs have gone in the North Sea since the windfall tax was introduced this government sure know how to kill the economy Preferring to import loads of oil from abroad Not very green in my opinion when all they need is sitting below our feet

Why are harbour energy getting rid of another 250 Jobs on top of the 350 previously siting the government tax as the reason and the massive drop in profits!!!

I understand that both oil AND gas prices have to be below this level for the epl to be stopped. Whilst the oil trigger may happen, gas is still over 80p/therm. This may seem obtuse, but oil and gas are taxed under the same regime, and as such it's difficult to separate them tax wise. Although they really should consider doing this as we become increasingly reliant on gas for energy security.

"The ESIM price threshold was calculated using a 20-year historic average to the end of 2022 and is set at $71.40 per barrel of oil and £0.54 per therm of gas. The government will introduce legislation to remove the EPL if the ESIM is triggered."

Personally i cant see oil over $71 for a while now, so tax going forward not much of an issue for UJO.... Plus we have invested ££££ in projects and paid ££££ in salaries, so not much profit left to tax !

If o were an oil company I would keep the numbers under wraps until the crazy bad tax by the current government is withdrawn and store the black stuffNo point in making big profits for the current government to steal it all

The two numbers given so far for mocassin were 640 bpd and 140bpd. That's 19,200 and 4,200 bbls/month.Hopefully the 480 bbls for Feb were for just 2 or 3 days.
