16/9/2019 13:34 | A CPR is the 'peg' on which the company is allowed to hang its hat on. Its an independent assessment of the seismics and any drilling, and it gives the size of prospects (in a range of probability from low case p90 to best case p10). These are the official numbers the company is allowed to discuss. They can't go about claiming more when raising funds or doing deals. Anything over and above the CPR (even West Newton) is technically 'speculation' without a CPR, and the company has to be very careful about flagging up such talk as speculation. A CPR on West Newton will make the numbers 'firm' and allow the companies to integrate them into their presentations and star allotting a 'project value' to the fields i.e. a sale value. | lageraemia

16/9/2019 08:59 | I think chrisoil is locked in on this, and I think he is going to have to take a massive hit to get out since there isn't trust around UJO. Why did they not continue with the gas testing whilst considering how to investigate the oil find? | whattheduce

15/9/2019 11:49 | the US is blaming Iran for the attacks, sooner or later the USA will respond with force to this incident or the next, obviously an uptick from $60 a barrel would be great news for UJO assets, if war breaks out $100 and up is possible imho | likeawalrus
15/9/2019 11:35 | “we need our own oil and gas, imo, relying on the rest of the world is unsustainable” ...heard before that with Surrey and Horse Hill 🤦a oh 😦 you “now” mean Hull...and this West Newton play thing 🤦a | atino
15/9/2019 08:35 | we need our own oil and gas, imo, relying on the rest of the world is unsustainable "Saudi Arabia's energy minister said the strikes had reduced crude oil production by 5.7 million barrels a day - about half the kingdom's output. Correspondents say they could have a significant impact on world oil prices. TV footage showed a huge blaze at Abqaiq, site of Aramco's largest oil processing plant, while a second drone attack started fires in the Khurais oilfield." | currypasty
14/9/2019 17:59 | Remember #ChrisOil only does #Oil appraisals no exploration to reduce risk and entry always through bad news or funding see my TV interview this summer. ...I wonder what’s he’s take therefore on an exit strategy (...oh silly me 🤦♂ | atino |
