It contributes. But the biggest influence is the rotation into recovery plays.

The pound is up 6% against USD in past 3 months. Not helpful to ULVR bottom line.

In full year 2012 operating margin was 13.8%. This grew every year until full year 2019 when it was 19.1%. Last year this crashed to 18.5%. EPS grew every year from €1.57 (2012) to €2.55 before utterly collapsing to €2.48.

looking to buy more of these but reckon the ex-div fall tomorrow will be in excess of 50p, so maybe top up @ 37.8?

And I'm not sure about the name 'Billionaire'. Too closely identified with Trump, so it's politically toxic. If they renamed it 'Homeless transgender climate activist' it might fit better with the corporate image. And management would be so proud of it.

But is it a Vegan product? That’s all that matters.

Fantastic news. That explains the rise. I think it will go up even more tomorrow once people realise the Magnum Double Gold Caramel Billionaire will be hitting the shops soon.

Yes you're quite right dynamo. I was a little hasty and should have read it properly!

They were not purchases, they were freebie shares part of the long term incentive plans

tabhair. Some of the directors seem to agree with you judging from yesterday's announcement of substantial purchases.

Share price doesn't make much sense to me. This is a high quality company that has shown its resilience during covid. It has some (modest) growth, it has great return on equity metrics. It throws off a prodigious amount of free cash, it has more than manageable debt, there is a share buy back. If this was to trade at a 5% free cash flow yield that similar companies trade at (often this yield is actually lower, I am being conservative), this is a £60 share.

This share will keep dropping whilst Sterling strengthens. Just before brexit referendum day,(23/6/16) it was trading slightly over 3000p, but I'm thinking the floor is higher than that. It should then rebound nicely when people realize its a bargain

RiskonRicky your post So I'm panicking and selling at a huge loss, who's with me?I'm certainly not. This for me is a clear indicator that the time to buy more is getting close. I'm looking at a levelling of the share and falling volume and a reverse with rising volume a a trigger point The share has just paid out a div and management will know if they don't correct this slide they are in the brown stuff. Results are ok but not amazing. Feeding the short squeeze.

I wish for a takeover to get a new board that prioritize profit over virtue signalling. This is my biggest holding, Jope has made it clear its all about him saving the planet and getting marxists to admire him. Should be illegal carrying on like he has. 2 suggestions for a new boss, Jordan Belfort or The Donald. The boss needs to concentrate on the bottom line, end of.
