11/1/2011 14:59 | Up 15% now. Something brewing? Has clearly been oversold IMO | cactus100
11/1/2011 10:43 | A tick up.... anyone alive here? | cactus100
26/11/2010 13:56 | Hard to figure out which are sales and which are buys. I did a dummy this morning and 12.55 you could sell and 12.95 to buy. So the 100,000 at 12.75p is ??????? And then 125,000 at 12.75????? | donemyhomework2
25/11/2010 17:44 | A lot of trades around what appears to have been a fairly benign, mildly bullish AGM, seems to be a lot of buys, but price not moved. Anyone know anything? | magic198
03/11/2010 11:24 | All looking very soggy, not surprising with the heavy dilution and high price paid. | magic198
15/10/2010 18:38 | Agree price seems very high, good deal for Ashley, not sure about for Ultimate. As banks will not lend, market should remain OK for discounters so long as they can manage their bad debts. Overheads will rocket, can they maintain Ashley's margins? | magic198
12/10/2010 15:59 | Yes, expensive dilution, as expected. Presumably fee includes more than just acquisition fees. Hopefully the deal will be earnings enhancing. Ashley are at the small but more expensive end of financing, hopefully more profitable. | magic198
12/10/2010 08:38 | Somebody is taking the MICHAEL with a fee of £1m or does it include the costs of acquisition as well | solarno lopez
12/10/2010 07:43 | So it was Ashley after all!!! Very expensive placing ; I thought TAN raising £2m with £200k expenses was a lot but nearly £1m to raise £2.75m?? | donemyhomework2

08/10/2010 11:09 | Well if it is Ashley Commercial Finance Limited they have a March year end with the 09 accounts in. They submit abbreviated accounts and there is after tax ( an possibly dividends) profits of nearly £300k and I suppose more in the March 10 accounts. | donemyhomework2
08/10/2010 05:45 | I had a look at Ashley's website; looks quite interesting. Shrek and Jambo ; how do you know? | donemyhomework2
07/10/2010 12:52 | Ashley it is. | jambo172
05/10/2010 07:14 | Well if they were in an advanced stage we should hopefully hear this week. | donemyhomework2
01/10/2010 16:17 | About time we heard something? | magic198
27/9/2010 14:32 | Depends on who and whether market feels it will be earnings enhancing in the short term, also impact of fund raising may have an impact. | magic198
27/9/2010 12:34 | I wonder how all this will affect the share price? | 340r
27/9/2010 07:04 | Magic, I agree but in essence UFG is buying the private company but the private co will have control by virtue of the number of shares issued to see through the aquisition. | donemyhomework2
26/9/2010 08:39 | DH - I was thinking of a private company reversing into UFG, rather than another quoted company. There are a few private CID companies around. | magic198
23/9/2010 16:15 | Magic, How many smaller quoted companies in the same industry are there? I dont think so. Must be a private company and will buy them out with shares and some cash IMO. In summary I think it will be an earnings enhancing deal. | donemyhomework2 |
