So they are going to appeal.

"At both the 29 June and 27 November 2020 SCC planning committee meetings, UKOG also highlighted the role that a successful Loxley gas project would play in the government's low-carbon hydrogen policy, in which natural gas is reformed into clean burning hydrogen, with an envisaged 85% saving in related carbon emissions. Domestic gas has approximately a quarter of the carbon emissions of imported liquefied natural gas."

Not sure how it will go as they didn't even mention the process of "turning natural gas is reformed into clean burning hydrogen" in the planning application.

"The Supreme Court has breathed new life into plans for a third runway at Heathrow Airport.

The scheme was previously blocked by the Appeal Court, who said the government’s airports strategy didn’t meet up-to-date UK climate targets.

But the Supreme Court has ruled the strategy was legitimately based on previous, less stringent, climate targets at the time it was agreed.

The firm behind Heathrow can now seek planning permission for the runway.

But it still faces major obstacles, including having to persuade a public enquiry of the case for expansion.

And if planning inspectors approve the scheme, the government will still have the final say.

What are the Heathrow third runway plans?
Ministers have been advised by their Climate Change Committee that, in order to keep emissions down, Heathrow should only expand if regional airports contract.

This will pose a problem for a government that’s committed to improving infrastructure away from the South-East.

And a full application from Heathrow Airport may still be more than a year away as the airport re-assembles a planning team and strives to cope with Covid."


Will have to wait and see how our case goes. 50/50 imo as still a bit of wriggle room.

Not far off, if I advise that hydrualically there will be negative impacts, it can result in significant impacts on overall design that extends right across a city. Been there, done that. Do you know the impact on house prices if the CSO has to be twice the size reducing the car parking space in Mayfair - that's 5 million of the price of that house on the corner, reduced garage access. Oh yes, some of my reports have had considerable impacts on infrastructure projects. I nearly had a motorway rerouted in Dubai (they decided to dig a bigger and very much more expensive hole).

Dunsfold is a straight refusal from the Council. Monitoring Officer obviously ignored the complaints.
Will UKOG appeal?

Bell boy in the family B&B. What heights! I can't remember the last time I wore wellies, must be decades ago. In consulting you have to slum it busines class, 5 star and courtesy car with driver. And you can reject work on a whim if it doesn't fit in with your lifestyle plans. At least 'me mam' doesn't have to entertain the benefit cheque dosers in a Blackpool B&B for a little extra cash, bell boy.

You really need to keep up to speed. You are forgetting that it was wtd's big head that was stuffed down BB when stevie forgot to inform you lth's of a 'little problem' and destroyed any ramped gain in a blink.however,after a month,head down hole he did come up with ' it's not a production well per se,but a knowledge gathering excercise to bring other gushers on stream"...a step towards the UK's well,ukog's national Importance star.
