Premier Oil to cut into debt pile with $200m oilfield sale

Oil and gas explorer Premier Oil is preparing to sell off its stake in the largest onshore oilfield in western Europe to kick start its drive to cut into its $2.7bn debt pile.

The FTSE listed group confirmed reports that it will sell its 33.8pc stake in the Wytch Farm oilfield for around $200m and release letters of credit amounting to approximately $75m.

Premier would not comment on the buyer but according to reports the stake will go to Verus Petroleum, independent North Sea explorer with a focus on mature oil and gas fields.




So they're paying $200m for c5000bopd from Wytch Farm, an oil field that's in decline after 35 years of extraction and peak production of 110,000bopd.....Ukog's 100% of BB, 33% of HH, 30% of Holmwood etc etc not not mention the potential of IoW, could be worth $Billions if Nutech and Schlumberger multi-billion assessment is proven on BB's imminent flow tests and HH's extended flow tests which are also expected to be underway in the next couple of months or so...KER-CHING!!! Gla Holders Confirmation of free flowing commercial recoverable volumes at BB will send Ukog's share price into orbit imho....On and Up!!! :-)

This news on Premier Oil's sale of Wytch Farm couldn't have come at a worse time for the lowlife snide cohorts betting short, it gives the market and genuine private investor a real and strong indication of the transformational upside potential of Ukog's interests in the Weald.....especially when there is strong evidence that they're sitting on a high quality oil deposit over 1,400ft thick and extends over 30km and beyond.....Get ready for some serious upside on confirmation that BB's flow tests are ready to start, and jaw-dropping upside on confirmation of free flowing oil in commercial recoverable times.....KER-CHING!!! Exciting times for those invested...Tick Tock ;-)

If true well done but that means you have been selling while ramping it to high heaven. Why would anyone trust a word you say when you've been egging them on to buy stock from you that you got much lower?

If you do still hold then it's very likely you'll wake up one day to find the stock sub 3p. The delays are real and are likely due to problems. If these problems can't be fixed the company will have to come clean at some point. If that happens we'll be sub 3p before you know it.

The market is awaiting the next update to confirm that flow tests are underway, this will see a further rise in sp, as will confirmation of BB's 12 month extension and HH extended flow test approval, and undoubted added value on Nutech/Schlumberger's resource upgrade and another Holdings Rns, which seems very likely, and if the flow tests confirm free flowing commercial recoverable volumes at either site or both, then the upside will be breathtaking.....positive newsflow and events awaiting imminent delivery. Gla holders Tick Tock On and Up!!! ;-)
