Two buy recomendations in IC on Friday and a significant director purchase - its got the necessary tailwinds to hit 2.5.

Be interesting to see what happens on XD day this week - can give rise to some strange trading patterns - hoping will take in its stride.

Dear oh dear, I'm sorry if it's a little complex boys but a stock tends to appreciate in the run up to the ex div; thus my comment was well warrented, the share price has indeed done so and the punter who sold 50k of shares has lost out on not only the div but the appreciation.I take it that neither of you have invested here in reality?

If it wasn’t for the Dow and Nasdaq crash earlier this beauty would have closed over 240 today. Both Dow and Nasdaq have recovered from ridiculous lows earlier this afternoon, so expect this to fly again tomorrow. IMO this will smash 300 by ex divi date. Goes XD on 10/05, fantastic 12p divi, followed by another 3.5p divi in July. SOLID BUY!!

Asturious - (your 1123) - I used to read Readers Digest a lot, and liked the idea of "more picturesque speech". So, to interpret ny "bizarre" post - there is a well- known ( I thought) expression - "if it looks too good to be true, it probably is". And another expression is " to get cold feet" meaning to be fearful. Hope that helps. But I'll try to avoid the idea now.

Well, perhaps because they expect the price to fall by the amount of the distribution and they would much prefer a capital gain to a dividend.

Liberum Capital started coverage on shares of U and I Group (LON:UAI) in a research report issued on Thursday, April 26th. The firm set a “buy” rating and a GBX 280 price target on the stock. Liberum Capital’s price objective points to a potential upside of 22.00% from the stock’s current price.

£6 billion portfolio of various properties. share price gone up by approx 30% since December. Circa 7% divi yield.... looking at the earnings, potential, assests and analyst reports, this should be trading well over 300 mark. IMO share price will easily smash that 300 mark by the 2nd ex divi. 12p special XD 10 May, 3.5p final XD 19 July. SOLID BUY!! If you are planning to invest I wont hang about, share price has already jumped 10% since the begining of this week.
