greedfear:> That is if a CEO is is prepared to pay 2.5 time revenue - As I advised above toiletries were usually 1x revenue - Jury still out.

Re the interview today,Jactel says that TYRATECH is at a tipping point and that 2017 WILL be a transformational year AND that this will happen.
I was enthused by the content of this extensive Proactive chat and can well see the share price firming(albeit maybe only marginally at the outset) in the shorter term.
If Tyratech really do see such great potential in the animal health division then the human heath side could be on its way.

I just cannot understand, after those stonking results, how a quality stock like this just keeps going down.

Is the bottom 0p?

Thanks gents. So that would be 2.5 x $ 6.6 million (net revenues) or $ 16.5 million or approximately 13 million GBP.
Current marketcap 6 million GBP.

That leaves room enough for me for error.
It's a hold for me. If price dips I'll be a buyer.

timbo:- In my day usual rule of thumb was 1x t/o but that was for toiletries. Vamousse is (imo) an OTC prop med which would usually be more. Would not dispute your 2.5x. However no recent data so cannot comment further but could be a nice bolt on for a major looking to diversify -

Also to note that market cap given in 1833 above is wrong as some 147,954,669 shares in issue (Have to add together TYR & TYRU)

When I worked in Consumer Healthcare many years ago, brands often changed hands at 2.5X annual sales, although I suspect PU will know quite a bit more about this than I do (I was employed in R&D not commercial)

It will be more than the current 2.4m MCap - that's for sure.

As Tyratech is already in final stages of an external validation of the value of Vamousse (while animal health is only in early stages)I think plan A will be to sell Vamousse (first).

What Vamousse will be worth for companies looking for additions to their product line? No idea, really. Anybody?

The Allenby note is now available.
I think we knew from the T/U how today's prelims would look.
Nevertheless, they are something of a disappointment imo,for investors will just have to wait it out whilst the strategic review progresses.
PUGUGLY
I cannot see any evidence of an "exit at all costs" mindset.
Imo we will see a short period of stagnation at current levels prior to insider buying causing the share price to rise, as the options for or interest in Tyratech become apparent to the BOD(and others).

I don't see how chopping the company into two halves is going to make it profitable unless you're going to sell one unprofitable half, and I'm not even sure the other half is profitable....

Now you know the sales of vamousse i in the UK no need to go in and count cans and rearrange stock. This will give you more time to ramp these shares on line.

Re the minor ailments scheme it is available free to many groups not just low income. over 60
,under 16,
up to and including 18 if in full time education,
diabetics,
cancer patients,
hypothyroid.
There are many more groups eg pregnancy just look at the back of the prescription form., so the number of patients who can get free vamousse is large as long as their area has it on their list.

Price a year ago 5p price now 2p !1.3 million vamousse turnover UK.take cost at say 7£ take 11500 pharmacies in UK then you work out average sale per month per pharmacy. Add in number of supermarkets in UK and you can see that's its not worth stocking.I made the right decision not to purchase the shares at 10p when I first heard their presentation .not having had one request in the last year for the product nor one prescription it says it all. Carry on ramping though you might push the shares up. If the product is repriced and taken over by another company it might sell better .I have never criticised the product only the pricing.I will not post here again
.thank you for highlighting my comments today as if people look back they will see that if they hadn't invested they would have been better off !
Actually they don't need to look back a quick glance up at the share price says it all.

Initial market reaction on TYRU seems to be "get out at any price" That said not a big cash amount - Need to see if TYR dumped at 1p or less - If so then no futher possibilty of fund raising unless to scalpers at a further significant discount (all imo dyor cautions etc apply)

Well Vamousse is turning over about £6 million profitably and growing so what is that worth. £15 million at least? Remind me of the market cap?

You have to remember that the company is valued at one times turnover. All bad news is in the price. I was fearing something such as delisting from certain stores as the reason for the sustained weak price. However, there is no bad news and they are looking to unlock value. So it looks positive to me as Timbo suggests above.

I assume that sum of the parts will be worth considerably more than the current market cap in this instance, or why continue with the review?

It will be interesting to read Allenby's comments later today, which will probably appear here:

I've no idea how the market will react to this but that one word...'however', wasn't what I wanted to see.

I'm out today so will miss most of the action.
