Well TYR have until Monday to get their accounts out. Last years came out on the last possible day so not expecting anything this week - looks like they submitted them again on the Monday after too!

Just reading back through them, what ever happened to this one.....

Successful development of a floor and surface repellent product resulting in a near-term opportunity to conclude an agreement with a major fast-moving consumer goods ("FMCG") group and medium to longer term discussions with the same party on a prospective global license for household pesticides

Never had another update on that one from what I can see?

TYRU should be more expensive than TYR...

That's been puzzling me also. Should be the other way around as you say.

Interims this week? I'm not too bothered about the figures, they're history, more interested in what B.J. has to say about the business going forwards.

TYRU should be more expensive than TYR (because the shares are identical except that TYR is subject to restrictions on sale to US citizens under Regulation S) but is only now coming back into line.

I suspect that someone who bought TYRU in the March fundraising was very keen to sell: whenever I bought, someone sold 100k in response, but they may now have cleared.

At 5.1/5.2p you're still buying at a very similar level to the directors when they bought 3.1m shares at 5p in March of this year --- before the Novartis deal was struck.

Well since Bruno came in A.V. has taken a near 30% stake and they have got the Novartis deal so I can't say management don't inspire confidence.

This can be compared to PTO whose share price bumped along the bottom while they were reinvesting their profits into developing new software. Once that moved into the commercialisation phase....whooosh. I can see that happening here.

You have to find these things before they take off.

I was thinking the same Michael but having trawled through this thread there are a number of red flags for me. I don't have much faith in the management. The share has fallen a long way and seems only to be treading water. It is not finding much support even at these levels. Probably a lion of a share led by donkeys.

Relatively new to this share & more than a little surprised the share price hasn't reacted to the news flow since last autumn. JV, new CEO, A.V. 29.4% stake, Novartis distribution agreement, new products... just what I look for.

I can't see any reason why this won't make a good turnaround. All the ingredients are in place & I guess the market just wants to see the evidence. I have a few but will be looking to add ahead of the interims.

techair - it's a fair point. I think we'll get a far clearer picture on cash flow in the next interims, but I would hope that Novartis would have done their own DD when agreeing the distribute their products on the basis that they would be around to support the agreement with relevant technical and sales support.

Looking good!

If all does go to plan and the head lice treatment is as good as test results have shown, it could be huge.

TyraTech (AIM: TYR and TYRU), commences production of its head lice control mousse, VaMOUSSE!™

TyraTech (AIM: TYR and TYRU), a life sciences company focusing on natural insect and parasite control products, has commenced production of its head lice control mousse, VaMOUSSE!™, a product TyraTech expects to be a market leader in head lice control. There are up to 50 million infestations of head lice in school children in the USA and Europe annually, in a market worth in excess of $600m every year.

TyraTech believes VaMOUSSE™ has the potential to achieve a high degree of penetration within this market as it is the only product available that is 100% effective and takes effect at a higher speed than any competing product.

VaMOUSSE™ will be distributed through 'own store' brands or through other channels under the VaMOUSSE™brand.

This development follows the recent signing of a distribution agreement with Novartis, a top 5 Global Animal Health company, for TyraTech's range of Animal Health products.

techair - what doesnt add up? the drifting share price has been on almost no volume so don't look into that with any significance.

As for headlice production - click here for pictures of first production of head lice control

Also, don't forget to read here about the Novartis deal
