It is scandalous how this is allowed to happen again.
A placing to keep AR and BJ in the lifestyle they have become accustomed IMHO

Interesting bit from the placing RNS..

Company took the opportunity to withdraw the exclusivity under this agreement and is now pursuing alternative commercialisation strategies, one of them being marketing the products under its own PureScience(TM) brand in 2016.

Thruppence a share, disastrous share price performance & I can't see it getting any better anytime soon.

The current discrepancy between TYR and TYRU is ridiculous! I flipped some shares from TYRU yesterday and increased my holding. I will hold for a year and then convert back to TYRU. The bizarre thing is that I know from personal experience that the MMs have trouble delivering TYR stock over an extended period so one at least is clearly running a short position. My brokers told me last month that 85k of stock bought last year had still not been delivered!

Clearly there is some concerted buying of TYRU at the moment so perhaps some good news is coming. There was talk of a new partner for the animal products so perhaps that is imminent.

Yes. The reviews were very good with over 90% giving it 5 stars then one or two customers complained of their horses having skin problems so Smartpak stopped selling it. I did cover that on the other thread at the time.

I was expecting that to be the fly in the ointment in the results but B.J. covered it by saying they were improving the ingredients...hmmm

Guardian Backyard & Wilderness are both getting rave reviews but it's only available on Amazon.com with way over 90% of customers giving 5 star reviews.

Tyratech is still in it's infancy and it will take a year or two for their products to gain traction. Unfortunately these days that doesn't count for anything, folk are only interested in today's $$$.

Techair,

Go and read your original post. You suggest they are just sitting there taking a fat salary for doing nothing and because of that we can expect a placing.

There's enough rubbish posted on these boards without you adding to it.

Here we go taken from TYR website - Mr Reade was appointed as a Non-Executive Director on May 25, 2007. In 2010 he moved to the United States to become Executive Chairman, and then in June 2013 he became Non-Executive Chairman. He is owner of Global Strategy Expression Limited, a consulting and advisory services business in the life sciences industry. From 2000 until his retirement in 2005, he served etc etc

So hardly left to join Tyratech

Video interview with CEO Jactel

Bruno Jactel, chief executive of TyraTech (LON:TYR), gives his growth outlook for the company’s head lice treatment – Vamousse - and comments on the firm’s plans to launch alternatives to pesticides in the animal health market.

Today the firm said that despite the two major US pharmacy chains placing its lice treatment in stores later than expected, product sales increased by a factor of more than three times compared to last year’s first half.

Its Vamousse shampoo, which drove the increase, was the fastest growing branded head lice product in the US.

Speaking to Proactive, Jactel adds that the group's progress in the animal health markets is ongoing, with products previously licensed to Novartis expected to generate sales next year.

From what I remember, BJ was unemployed for about a year and AR came out of retirement so not such a stupid comment? IMHO

Paying themselves a lovely wage, AR and BJ are, which I figure is why they might need additional funding LOL IMHO

What a stupid comment.

Reade, Jactel & Hill HAD high paying jobs which they left to join Tyratech so if money is all they are interested in they would have stayed put at Merial.

Just a thought but perhaps they saw a much rosier future with Tyratech?

Since the half year–end, Boots has taken the Vamousse Protective Shampoo into a portion of their stores and expanded the outlets taking the Vamousse Treatment product. NOTE PORTION! NOT ALL why????

Sales have continued to grow in absolute terms during the ‘back to school’ period in August and September to date, however they have been behind our forecast expectations and if this trend continues for the remainder of the year, our second half results, whilst still expected to be materially better than the first half, will not be as strong as previously thought.

they are talking sales into shops but how many have actually been sold?

they say they are no 3 but what are the actual figures. michael you are the expert please post the figures for no 1 , 2 and 3 so we can compare.
to say we are no 3 is meaningless no1 could be $50m no 2 $30m and no 3 $100k. no 4 $30K.

Yes, ignore all the positives and concentrate on a forecast made without anything to compare to. Second half will be 'materially' better than the first half.

Early days with this outfit but they have done well in getting Vamousse into 50,000 outlets across the USA in such a short timeframe. They are creating a brand, let's not forget that.

Oh dear - still not cash self sufficient as indicated by AR many times over the years and sneaked in the 'we might need more money' at the end of the RNS. You can probably take that as a given. IMHO

With Vamousse taking up large resources and cash the roll out of Guardian(getting it onto shelves) has to take a back seat until early next year. Management have said as much.

In the mean time word of mouth will have to do the selling.

Found it now, it's only on delivery from the USA. I've gone through the science and it all fits. I was just hoping to get some over here to try out.

Yes, they do. Guardian Wilderness and Guardian Backyard.

Wilderness is good for 8 hour protection , Backyard 4 hours.

Management did say in the final results RNS, 'Furthermore, Guardian personal mosquito and tick repellent is available online and is building a strong core of loyal and enthusiastic customers.'

It is on sale at Amazon and reviews are fantastic with most customers saying it's the best product they have used. Check out the reviews.

What DEET replacement?

Vamousse contains no DEET, it's an alternative to products that do use DEET.

Read the news mate, or have you got head lice?

Vamousse is being sold through Tesco's who are doubling the amount of stores that sell it, Sainsbury's, Boots, Superdrug, Rowlands, Day Lewis, Lloyds plus 1,800 independent pharmacies. Also Amazon.co.uk.

Is that enough?
