Announcement of non-executive director succession
Tyman, a leading international supplier of engineered components and access solutions to the construction industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Paul Withers as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 February 2020.
Paul will succeed Mark Rollins, who will be stepping down from the Board on 31 March 2020, and will take over the roles of Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and Senior Independent Director ("SID") from that date. Paul will join the Audit, Nomination and Remuneration Committees with effect from the date of his appointment to the Board on
1 February 2020.
Paul brings extensive international experience and in particular strong knowledge of US markets to the Board, both as an executive and non-executive director. He is SID and Chair of the Remuneration Committee for both Keller Group plc and Devro plc. Paul's executive career was spent at BPB plc, the international building materials business where he was Group Managing Director. He has also been a Non-Executive Director, SID and Chair of the Remuneration Committee of both Premier Farnell plc and Hyder Consulting plc.
