04/5/2018 16:12 | Well there was this time a few years ago when we were out walking along a welsh beach and unbeknownst to us, we wandered into a nudist area. There was a bit of a wind and one man, was having a great time throwing a frisbee upwind and the frisbee acted just like a boomerang. To the extent that he had to jump to catch it a couple of times. Now, i don't know about you but that was not what I expected to see and was rather surprising. | andrewdbl
02/5/2018 16:02 | come on , when was the last time you were surprised? | edwardt
01/5/2018 11:44 | If the past is a guide to the future, Thurs 24 May... Be ready for some news - whether a bit disappointing or very disappointing is the question | andrewdbl
25/4/2018 09:43 | love that 75k buy to be one of the board... | edwardt
20/4/2018 09:40 | To me it sounds like the interest rate on the loaned stock has been reviewed (up). Somewhat gratifying that they actually bought some rather than completely close the position. ... but then who would buy 8.1% of TUNG right now ... I suppose we will never know. | andrewdbl
20/4/2018 07:52 | flipping from one entity to another - maybe tax driven? | edwardt
20/4/2018 07:28 | Tungsten Corporation PLC Holding(s) in Company Holdings reached 12.40% | johnwise
19/4/2018 09:12 | I'm with you Manics ( as you know ) but I get the feeling the 'old stagers ' are coming to some kind of end game here - I feel we are on the cusp of this falling one way or the other, if the company starts making money and there is potential for growth the share price can pick up very quickly .If we get the same old wooly messages and lack of progress to anything resembling a growing business from the next set of results I fear this thing will never be much more than an Edi Truell pipe dream and it may be time to admit defeat and sell up ? | dollarzpounds
19/4/2018 08:38 | Well for me it was Truell flogging off £4m (I think it was) worth of shares through cash4shares.com like he's all skint and that, when he has quarter of a bill' sitting in CHE! I have been the bagiest of bagholders on TUNG (shout out @BagHolderQuotes) -though console myself that some names up in the stars also had it up 'em. So what hope I? Coming up to my 4 year anniversary. Might as well be a million percent to breakeven. | manics
18/4/2018 16:30 | The reason ( IMO ) we are going nowhere is because we have no news to encourage anyone to buy any shares ? Tungsten is the 'waiting room' of the stock market ! If / when we get some positive news ( breakeven / profits etc ) people will buy, if we continue to stagnate so will the share price irrespective of Odeys position .What incentive are the BOD laying before investors to convince them shares in Tungsten are a better proposition than investing in the myriad of other companies or investment vehicles at their disposal ?? Very little . | dollarzpounds
18/4/2018 15:47 | odey@s position looks like 10%+ of his fund. this has to be a reason we are going nowhere. he surely is a natural seller and if his silly gilt bet does not pay off, he may well have to throw in the towel here too. strangely i see this as good news! | edwardt
17/4/2018 12:38 | kenwrong - thanks but think ken is wrong on what tungsten is! | edwardt
17/4/2018 07:09 | Those invested on here may be better of getting into a bigger tungsten project. Apollo Minerals owns the Couflen project in the south of france with the worlds highest grade tungsten mine. AON is listed on the ASX but the CEO Hugo Schuman says on the podcast on the PR website that they are going to list in Europe or London. Worth a listen hxxps://audioboom.co | kenwrong
09/4/2018 21:41 | Those Woodford patient capital biotech investments finally paid off. Paul Scott and Ed Sheeran had a child. | andrewdbl
06/4/2018 23:55 | He looks like Simon Peggs mate from 'Shaun of the dead '?! Quite fitting as the share price is the walking dead ! | dollarzpounds
04/4/2018 11:13 | Haven't checked in here for a while. How is it going? Prety much back to where it was before the Truells happened, but with a nicer office? | duncandohnutter
27/3/2018 09:52 | Sounds more like blind hope.....which is probably all that is left! | ejcj
27/3/2018 09:13 | very low volume - suspect cgt planning involved in taking losses here to offset. got to be optimistic! | edwardt
26/3/2018 17:59 | .....and goodbye 60p !! Rather disappointing what ?? | dollarzpounds |
