frazboy - according to Kosmos Energy (todays Q1/19 Call), APC's Algerian position is worth about $2bn, leaving $6.8bn for Ghana + Moz.

Interesting post manicat.Difficult to put a valuation on Tullow's assets from the $8.8bn offer for Anadarko's assets. I think Anadarko have about 17% of TEN (Tullow 47%) and Jubilee 23% (Tullow 34%). If you were to assume that Anadarko's Ghanian assets were worth half of Tullow's you still have the problem of valuing Mozambique (pre FID), 55,000 Boepd net in Algeria (Under a PSC) and SA (a rough approximation of zero looks about right for that).

The revised offer came as French giant Total revealed it had struck a deal to acquire Anadarko’s African assets from Occidental for $8.8 billion, should the latter be successful in its takeover bid.i'd love to see what the ghana assets are valued at tullow are only independent because of their poison pill $3 billion of debt

Difficult to reconcile the price fall from 250 to here. The production miss is forgivable after a few good quarters, the failure to progress Uganda is more concerning ... I await the ‘imminent̵7; update on that. As for Kenya, who cares, does anyone still think it has material value in the current oil price environment?
