28/3/2019 08:52 | Hi subsurface. I do agree, but I look among similar sized peers and feel that the operational and geopolitical complexities cannot easily be said to be within anyone's control, even the majors. I do believe the standard of governance is relatively strong from a management angle, and that they are aligned with investors.. hopefully experience helps them but some of these problems are also inherent to the commodity business. Not to completely absolve them of all responsibility but I do have some sympathy. Which is why investors are here to benefit from operating leverage as such I guess. | j0sekl
28/3/2019 06:03 | Hi Joseki They do have a good record in exploration but turning it to cash the time spans on some of the projects are too long 3/4 years is acceptable Ghana for Example Uganda will be circa 14 years to first oil Kenya is also running on. They are good at making money but should be two times better of looking after it! in my opinion, remember sea drill and DRC. If they have learned the lessons from the past we have some very good chances this year but we are a long way off being the best at what we do. | subsurface
28/3/2019 05:33 | Tullow's value is in their own exploration competency. All they need to do is continue exploring expanding and converting production cashflow, | j0sekl
25/3/2019 14:32 | Apparent majors interest. Edit: Total and Six Legged Dog? | billy_buffin
24/3/2019 16:36 | repsol / tullow are drilling the Carapa prospect in the autumn | manicat
24/3/2019 09:52 | PeruPetro: Tullow Oil Z64 block possible 're-signing' one of the original blocked signings | billy_buffin
24/3/2019 09:20 | Aljazera report severe drought in Tukana Kenya, food shortage as rain late this year. Tullow also need water for oil production.Hope the rain comes soon. | subsurface
24/3/2019 06:27 | Some good information on expected drilling times and dates for Guyana and chat about Namibia from ECO,s Gil Not found much information about drilling targets on the Kanuku prospect we know the drilling contract is in place, only found one article that talks about a couple of prospects on the block Repsol not saying much? | subsurface
22/3/2019 10:52 | One word from Trump Oil price goes down ,one word from Saudi up it goes. I wish Tullow would talk this share / prospects up like Eco CEO Gill does. | subsurface
22/3/2019 10:27 | Hyper reactive to oil price, if Guyana does not come good, i think we are stuck at these prices for a good few years or until debt massively reduced. | alfiex
21/3/2019 10:32 | Thanks BIlly hope we get the outstanding blocks approved | subsurface
21/3/2019 09:55 | Confirmation | billy_buffin
21/3/2019 08:21 | Not a proper one. the 50 and 200 both need to be rising when they cross. | ifthecapfits
20/3/2019 23:43 | i'm no chartist but is that a golden cross in the chart above @ £2.20 anyway its about time tullow got a move on up the money i put in here would have doubled if i had put it in eco atlantic | manicat
18/3/2019 14:37 | Bang up to date article. Still a few flies left in the ointment..namely arbitration procedures..but very close to an agreement on pipeline and refinery. Museveni has really slowed things down but it looks as though pipeline tariff is pretty much locked down at $12 and his precious refinery has been subsidised by all participants. Uganda still holding out for a piddling amount of CGT... probably to help fund their own farm in stake...did no one ever explain project NPV's to these guys ? (sigh). hxxps://www.monitor. | bootycall
18/3/2019 08:06 | Interesting update a few weeks ago from Eco | subsurface
18/3/2019 07:07 | Hope so... | billy_buffin
16/3/2019 06:44 | the tullow chart is starting to look good on the up trend again. but its just following the oil price | manicat
15/3/2019 10:42 | plenty of superlatives when talking about Guyana finds “Our Embassy continues to repeat that it is truly difficult to comprehend the real magnitude of these oil finds,” Steers-Gonzalez said at the Essequibo Chamber of Commerce in December. “This is really, really big. Huge, gigantic, enormous, ginormous!” | subsurface
15/3/2019 10:15 | Any further news about Guyana will surely help Tullow zoom northwards. | chessman2
15/3/2019 10:11 | After 18 years I started to feel negative about Tullow, we do have the possibility of a transformational change ,its been a long time coming! lets see if investors return. They must keep the ship steady and deliver on there promises and get the debt down. | subsurface |
