Hi subsurface. I do agree, but I look among similar sized peers and feel that the operational and geopolitical complexities cannot easily be said to be within anyone's control, even the majors.

I do believe the standard of governance is relatively strong from a management angle, and that they are aligned with investors.. hopefully experience helps them but some of these problems are also inherent to the commodity business. Not to completely absolve them of all responsibility but I do have some sympathy. Which is why investors are here to benefit from operating leverage as such I guess.

They do have a good record in exploration but turning it to cash the time spans on some of the projects are too long 3/4 years is acceptable Ghana for Example Uganda will be circa 14 years to first oil Kenya is also running on.
They are good at making money but should be two times better of looking after it!
in my opinion,remember sea drill and DRC.
If they have learned the lessons from the past we have some very good chances this year but we are a long way off being the best at what we do.

Tullow's value is in their own exploration competency. All they need to do is continue exploring expanding and converting production cashflow,

Not found much information about drilling targets on the Kanuku prospect we know the drilling contract is in place, only found one article that talks about a couple of prospects on the block Repsol not saying much?

Hyper reactive to oil price, if Guyana does not come good, i think we are stuck at these prices for a good few years or until debt massively reduced.

i'm no chartist but is that a golden cross in the chart above @ £2.20 anyway its about time tullow got a move on up the money i put in here would have doubled if i had put it in eco atlantic

Bang up to date article. Still a few flies left in the ointment..namely arbitration procedures..but very close to an agreement on pipeline and refinery. Museveni has really slowed things down but it looks as though pipeline tariff is pretty much locked down at $12 and his precious refinery has been subsidised by all participants. Uganda still holding out for a piddling amount of CGT... probably to help fund their own farm in stake...did no one ever explain project NPV's to these guys ? (sigh).

After 18 years I started to feel negative about Tullow, we do have the possibility of a transformational change ,its been a long time coming! lets see if investors return.
They must keep the ship steady and deliver on there promises and get the debt down.
