Yes, half year results and possibly some positive announcements by the new CEO. Financial and structural improvements.

Volumes are always decent on a daily basis. This shows the interest this company attracts. 26 July will be the start for TLW.

Oil prices climbed to a six-week high Wednesday after a U.S. government report showed sharp drawdowns in oil and fuel stockpiles.

IMO 26th of July will be the end of the downturn for TLW.

Anyone like the fake taxi vids on xvideo? They're interesting to look at while watching money ebb and flow. Some of the girls are a bit rough though. The 'taxi driver' doesn't seem to mind.

...."Venezuela’s roughly 2 mb/d of oil production hangs in the balance, which, if lost in some sort of sudden calamity, would certainly send oil prices sharply up."

Huge discrepancy with the API figures last night. The rebalancing continues.

ifthecapfits - US Shale is already expensive as are solar and wind/wave energies.
So why to explore something expensive if cheaper oil is available ? So reverting massively to oil will trigger a lack of it. For Shale, it has loads of contamination issues and the world needs one single publicised incident to freeze it at once.

I agree, but will obviously take time to play out. Xmas seems a bit early - but the logic seems sound. What of US Shale?

When cost cut is across the globe, the renewable energies & shale become too expensive. If oil is cheap then better to us it until there is nothing left ... So the scenario is real and by Xmas it will be seen in practice. Even the saoudis are cutting billions in exploration so what is next ? Oil to go up.

There will be an unsustainable bottle neck in the availability of oil by Xmas.
All explorers have cut drilling plans by sometimes more than 50% to save cash.
IMO, it is time to accumulate oil stocks as the demand will come suddenly with no possibility to satisfy it quickly. China is already growing better than expected. India is also doing well with Brazil starting to wake up. With uncertainty in the middle east/Qatar etc., oil will have a brighter future. For majors, the quickest way to catch up to satisfy demand is to take over the likes of TLW, positioned in a pretty stable areas in the world. I would rather worry about uncertainties in the middle east.

Crude is flat or even up slightly since API numbers last night.
Very low volumes here and PMO so both can be shifted around fairly easily...

When these start to let rip, they really fly. I'm nicely positioned for that now.

That should do it with caps on Libya and Nigeria. Any slip ups in supply anywhere in the world will send oil speeding north. Venezuela, Nigeria Libya and Qatar seem to be in a bit of difficulty.
