27/6/2017 10:14 | The drop since the beginning of the year has been brutal, with no sign of stopping just yet. A rally would need to clear 185p to break the top end of the descending channel. Areas to watch for resistance over the longer term would be 216p and then 242p. Otherwise, the next low would be the 2016 bottom at 116p. | supermarky
26/6/2017 16:48 | Yip Fraz , Think we will be looking to farm down part of the 1 billion barrel field in Kenya not just for deferred development costs but also for cash to reduce debt. I heard from an oil man recently that big oil is being advised to drill into puddles again as fracker costs are increasing dramatically. Just hope we don't get bought out way down at this share price. | mariopeter
26/6/2017 14:21 | My issue with TLW is that they are still too indebted. This year this will have some free cash, and they will pay down debt by perhaps $200m to $300m (prior to any farm out receipts or exceptional cash inflows). Next year it looks pretty bleak though, their hedges are limited (24,000 bopd @ $52), and both Jubilee and TEN need further infill wells which don't come cheaply even in a depressed environment. On the subject of debt, I see from the latest investor presentation that they plan to reduce debt to get EBITDA down to 2.5 times; the question is, what are they planning to sell? They're attempting to farm down Uganda (but as of yet have received no cash consideration) which leaves the WA assests or possibly Kenya as being the family silver. The problem with selling the WA assets is they lose cash flow. At the time of the Rights Issue it looked like $750m was perhaps not enough, that still looks like it may be the case. | frazboy
26/6/2017 13:38 | Rig counts have risen 23 weeks in a row. U.S. shale oil reportedly flooding the markets and prices are stuck because of the unwillingness of some OPEC countries to cut outputs further. A number of them only have oil as a source of income. | azalea

26/6/2017 08:37 | We…see the sell off as an attractive buying opportunity in our favored stocks, including Total and Lundin, whilst we have also started to see investor interest in higher beta stocks that have sold off such as Tullow,” said Goldman | runwaypaul

23/6/2017 13:26 | What??? Tullow is not actually down today? Surely it will capitulate when the US opens? One more week to the end of June. What will happen then? Is it a shale reduction conspiracy? Baker Hughes later today... | mcsean2164
23/6/2017 11:59 | Storage of oil may be due the speculation that the oil can be sold in the future at a higher price. This may be an indication that oil traders are expecting a price rise | dodge meister
