TLW have always been successful in negotiating tax favourably! Countries in another phase of development are reluctant to kill the golden goose. Especially when they have only one! |
I think the share price will not change if it's negative as it's already holding this back. If it's positive and TLW have already said it will be, I think this will fly. Only my opinion DYOR |

Well I've been extremely surprised by the resilience in the 2026 10.25% bonds in recent weeks. But they are starting to move lower, now trading at 94.5 as opposed to 97 in recent times. On a rolling forward 12 month basis, Stockopedia has a forward PE of 1.6X. Seems reasonable to me, given the uncertainty surrounding future eps estimates, for the Ghana arbitration case is a massive source of uncertainty whatever the company has to say about it.
There is nothing the company can say to change that except to summarise the judgement when it arrives. Director deals by a non-exec don't change that, no matter how large they are, I wonder? JMV. Long and loss-making position. |
