Market seems to like it; although banks' track record on buying stuff hasn't been so hot in the last few years.

Well, anyone who bought on a T-20 on the day of floatation will have to settle either today or tomorrow. So I guess we might see little bit of jiggling about but from here on the market should be free of that particular uncertainty.

Though, to be honest, I doubt there would be many who T-20ed, so maybe it won't have a measurable effect.

I found the news about TSB rating from

TSB has been assigned an A- credit rating by Fitch Ratings with a stable outlook, and had the outlook on its BBB+ rating from Standard & Poor's upgraded to stable from negative.

@canetois, you were right, Barclay paid 6.5p in total in 2014,1p each interim & 3.5 for final, got worse since 2010.

@redartbmud, the dividends are peanuts now.

Barclays dividend is a fraction of the amount paid in annual bonuses, I believe.

Just for the sake of correctness Blue: Barclays do pay a dividend, not a lot but better than nowt.

Barclays/Lloyds/RBS are not paying dividend too.
In my opinion, there are some plus sides on TSB which you can consider buying them,the shares are oversubscribed 10 times, 1 free share for 20 shares if holding for 1 year (like 5% dividend), the value of the asset priced 15% discount, no exposure to claims like PPI,misconduct dealings etc
Barclays is currently investigated for dark pool trading activities and could be liable for millions fines after libor fixing.
