15/7/2019 13:56 | is there a broker that allows shorting this? | diseasex
15/7/2019 11:12 | No doubt in my mind that the sells are designed to do just that. | nocents
15/7/2019 10:45 | Nearly there, hopefully we will test 10p today. | mark10101
13/7/2019 09:19 | P.s. The mischief is in the relevant people already. It’s not the boards. They just allow the safe anonymity to express the mischief. I just learn who to trust and who not to. But if you always know you should rely only on your own judgment re. Investment decisions then peoples’ barbs are only skin deep. Important also not to be afraid to assert one’s own view against others. Same in life. Enough from me. | nocents
13/7/2019 08:51 | You are right. But you can never call a bottom on a share. As I said..the game players ( MM’s) have many tricks up their sleeve to relieve us of our shares on the cheap. I have experienced many of their methods. Subtle or blunt but devious nevertheless. One should never take advice from a chat board. But I personally recommend this as a buy right now knowing the company as I do. The end game is complex. One should not expect a quick fix either in an RNS or not. Politics has its greedy nails inside T and T oil. Never expect a politician to fulfil his/ her promises. ( Don’t start me off on Cameron/ Blair Brown/ May/Wilson/Heath bla bla. Cameron stupidly got us into this Brecit mess. Do not give nation-changing decisions to the people. Read Machiavelli from 500 yrs ago to prove this!!!! Miss May promised a mental health professional in every school a year ago. I am particularly incandescent about that..sorry...sidetr Directors buys are indeed small beer and fairly meaningless considering the river of sells we have experienced. But there is no TR 1 so no large registered holder nor director has sold. Safly Trinity has form for mot speaking out. They hold cards too close to chest. That is part of reason for where we are now. One should also never believe-as you say-that 10p can’t be broken. It can. It hopefully won’t. But investors must stay real. The market is red in tooth and claw. And no longer based on fundamentals but on short-term manipulation. Especially AIM. If I did not have trust nor hope in Trin -right or wrong-I woukd not be here. We can only make oir personal respectworthy choices and see how the tangled web unravels. With ungodly patience. Next week? I have nil expectsions. Best way. Set one up for disappointment. Take what comes. | nocents
13/7/2019 07:56 | Great post nocents. You are a breath of fresh air on these mischievous BB's. My post above was no more than a bored early morning ramble trying to think through what was going on here and comimg up with a possible end game. The share price seems to have hit a bottom and I am sure to have another attempt at bouncing from it (or alternatively breaking another few bones depending on the foundation 10p has given us). I do believe as I am sure others here still clinging on believe that there is indeed an end game in the immediate vicinity. Director buys at circa 11.5 are encouraging albeit relatively small change. Next week will surely have a tale to tell as there is not much more time left even for this subdued BOD to speak up. | marvelman
13/7/2019 07:14 | Entitled to a say? Absolutely. Nothing in the stock market surprises me. I have met many Machiavellian people in my time...the whole spectrum. Enough killers and murderers to extinguish any naivity within me. But to fail to recognise the worthy is an error. IMO Tracy would not be part of such a deception and she would know of such . I genuinely believe this. BD has been involved in various shenanegans and takeovers before. But the reason I am here is because I trust the head of investment relations. No-one else. I can’t see her being part of anything which would shaft investors. I have lost fortunes in Lloyds/RBS/Northern Rock/B and B and most of all POG. Devious lying SOB’s took £100k off me. Spouting shareholder value right left and centre and then springing a 15:1 Rights Issue . The market was so corrupt that it even blocked the sale of your allocated free shares.so ..yes a director takeover is possible. But in my honest true judgment Tracy Mackenzie would not be a part of such and would know. There is morality here...although I do not speak for everyone. So if I’m wrong I’m stuffed. But I don’t believe that they would shaft investors. Famous last words? I hope not. Share buyback? I don’t personally tgink so either. IMO it is accumulation at a low price for someone’s personal gain. Driven down for this end. Can’t know for sure but that is a tentative conclusion on my part. It may continue as a well-worn MM strategy is to frustrate and bore private investors into selling ( or panic them) and dropping the price just when they think it is at the bottom. Having already set off stop-losses. We are already in a tangled web of deceipt . I do not feel Trin is part of it and hope I am right.Been taken for too many rides already. You are entitled to postulate that option though. Sorry you lost. I am 55% down on a stupidly large investment but it is still on paper and I will die before I let MM’s benefit. | nocents
13/7/2019 06:10 | Interesting. If the company buys back a decent chunk of its own shares and then cancels them, would that not also increase the management's % and put them in a better position to launch a buy out. They would effectively have used the company's own money to buy part of it for them and leave them with less to borrow themselves in order to buy the rest of it. What a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive? Edit...perhaps mis representing Scott's line somewhat but the shinanigans that are going on here begs the question who is deceiving us and to what end...(not a holder myself anymore but have lost enough here to be entitled to a say methinks) | marvelman
12/7/2019 17:43 | I’d like to agree with you GO . ( it does happen :-) Curiously I did the same today at around the same time.Every day this week there has been a buyer of up to 550,000 share in one transaction. Today was 400,000. I have no idea who what why or buyback. But in addition to low extra capex Trin have no one-off Q1 expenditures ( e.g. insurance which accounted for a chunk Q1). I see ave. recd. oil price around 58-61 with its premium through Heritage if still running. Equally imppftant is the concept of this buyer. There has been “ almost vindictive” selling ( Mark’s description) But there has been abiyer. At this silly price no surprise.Hope you don’t mind my interjection. | nocents
12/7/2019 16:57 | Hi Spell...interestingl He told me that normally this does not flag anything obvious. Today he noticed an immediate price of 10 bid for 500,000 shares following an RFQ. Good to see a buyer there...the guy was not a seller so he didn't hit that bid. Was this the company he wondered with a share buyback program at 10p? I dusted off the old spreadsheet yesterday...if the company does not spend any money on capex, it is not unrealistic to see a step up in cash with oil selling at circa $58 following last quarter's expenditure on preparation to drill and routine capex. Some silver lining...let's see next week. | gabrieloak
12/7/2019 15:28 | Whens todays sell coming ? | spellbrook
12/7/2019 14:03 | Indeed. Low price is result of a group of sellers who have manipulated the price lower. It is not coincidental if you look at the paytern of sells amd size and timing. If someone wanted to liquidate holdings sensibly they would have done so at 11.5-12.5p. No. This has been pushed down. Nothing has changed re. the company from 16p in January except WTI is $ higher !!! | nocents

12/7/2019 11:44 | Cheers nocents, watched the recent presentations on the website to refresh my knowledge here at TRIN. sounds very promising and I have had my first few buys today. share price at 12 months lows and with quarterly news flow due in a week or 2 it seems a good time to buy. Plus I like the way the management holds 23% of the shares makes it worth there while to do there best. RSI just below 30 now also so oversold. Also the recent director buys at 11p + is a good Indicator they think it's cheap. Fairly robust cash flow with no debt also a big plus. | laptop15
12/7/2019 11:06 | Lol Mark. Yes! Laptop...you can’t predict a quarterly. You can have an idea. Q2 will have no beginning of year psymrnts. RCP’ s complete. Shpuld help bopd. No drilling done as far as we know but it may have been started. 6 new onshore wells supposed to be drilled this year. They are cheap but drilling takes capex. April May were gpod WTI. June appalling. Expect ave of $60 a barrel.Trin now receive premium for oil. SPT payable. Essentially all these things can’t be known for sure as yet. | nocents
12/7/2019 09:10 | Laptop15 with both CERP and TXP having a greater enterprise value than TRIN it suggest the market thinks TRIN are producing 600 bopd and have relinquished most of the cash from the 2018 raise, so anything better than that will be a bonus..... | mark10101
12/7/2019 08:28 | Cheers nocents, what are u expecting the quarterlies to be like? An improvement or similar to last quarter? Are the cash generating now as in building there cash balance? | laptop15
11/7/2019 20:52 | Laptop. Hi. Lack of news and group of sellers actively bringing price down. MM’s maybe involved. Often are. Squeeze out bored and disgruntled onvestors. Well-worn tactic since times of the Great Depression. Q2 results due next week. Don’t expect fireworks. This price is as good an entry point as I have ever seen though. If I had the cash I would be adding at these levels. Cheap beyond belief. 33% below Placing price !!! | nocents
11/7/2019 10:43 | What's the news flow due here guys? I see the share price has got very low again any reasons for it or just aim over the summer and MMS dropping the shares | laptop15 |
