07/10/2018 20:57 | Any tie up with Petrotrin would see me selling up the remainder of my holding faster than a Petrotrin refinery employee could run for a free bar! Petrotrin and its workers make heavily loss making British Leyland look like BMW. Take a read of the recent Budget presentation - the shocking, self serving entitlement of the Petrotrin management and workers is surreal. They did't even bother to pass on to Treasury the proceeds from oil sales conducted on behalf of third parties such as TRIN and TXP - just kept the money and 'spent' it. 'To continue in its present state, PETROTRIN will require an immediate cash injection of $25.0 billion; but the company will continue accumulating losses at approximately $2.0 billion per annum.' They have around 3,000 workers yet liabilities for private health/medical expenses for over 20,000 individuals through to the grave! | mount teide
07/10/2018 19:50 | I still can’t believe people are still mentioning the suspension and debts. New management and vastly different company and position. People living in the past. Don’t blame a mosn about Placing but if someone is going to look at investing here they should at least do their homework re. the present company structure and finance position. And maybe listen to the presentation?? Out. | nocents
07/10/2018 19:21 | Each to their own. I was not impressed by the Placing. They have explained to me in detail why they chose to do it then. I am still not a happy bunny as it was poorly handled by Link and a downer on loyal trusting p/i’s . For me to explain why undervalued?? No. I point you to 36 pages of tge Cenkos report 2 weeks ago. Pleaae read it. It took them 36 pages to explain it. And Whitman Howard too..about 30 pages. Read the report. Why ask an investor you have never met to answer that question in one post??....a question I’ve answered so many times before anyway. You come from an already biased position so don’t expect me to redefine your position.DYOR with Cenkos or read the RNS’s.Above all MYOMU. Buy . Sell. Or go to another share. | nocents
07/10/2018 18:35 | Agreed it will take time and a lot of good news in between the management could buy it or sell at a low price. | lexus880
07/10/2018 18:03 | Because of the stigma this company has...the suspension..the debts...the rather naughty placement in June...market doesnt trust them anymore... | princebuster2
07/10/2018 17:46 | Explain why the stock is undervalued then NOCENTS? time will tell. | lexus880
07/10/2018 17:17 | SB, I certainly think the Petrotrin situation and TRINS current finacial health does present some very interesting opportunities. I post this after listening on Friday. mark101014 Oct '18 - 14:55 - 2514 of 2534 Edit Fantastic presentation from Bruce, some very interesting flesh on the bone for me. Petrotrin own 35% of TGAL, for which the cost have come down massively. FDP to be in by end of year. Petrotrin are very weak onshore which could present opportunities for TRIN. They are strong offshore which again presents opportunities for TRIN with our offshore projects. The current share price movements defies logic relative to that presentation. | mark10101
07/10/2018 16:48 | Listened again to the great investors presentation... Can we read anything into maybe something to come of Trinity / Petrotrin partnership with them owning 35% and them now becoming interested in exploration with the refinery closing / maybe changing ownership ?? | spellbrook
05/10/2018 19:00 | That’s a hard one. Unknowable. Many p/i’s already sold subscription shares. Placees...depends on their targets. Individuals or institutions. Unknowable. Sorry. | nocents
05/10/2018 18:06 | How many placing shares left to flog | guyswonga74
05/10/2018 17:41 | The past is an irrelevance. Different BOD. Different financing . Debt free. This market forgiveness thing is complete rubbish. Nothing personal i tended in my comment in any way. It’s just wrong. | nocents
05/10/2018 13:13 | This stock just isn't like by the market they take a long to forgive, it's performing the same as others in the past that have got into difficulty and got out again it doesn't matter how good the management or Company performance is they just let it show in the share price for a long time, during that time its bought out at a low price? | lexus880
05/10/2018 12:46 | Most large holders still holding fast. Inc. myself. Why sell at such a silly price? Someone has an agenda but unless there is an RNS it is probably simply a Placee realising some profit. Can’t ever know . | nocents
05/10/2018 12:28 | Yes, there appears to be no end to it...but even Joseph Jennings only has 11 million left :-)) | marvelman
05/10/2018 11:33 | theres the 250k sell slipped in | spellbrook
05/10/2018 10:46 | Really appreciate your contribution to this thread Mark...and for putting up with my moaning. There is certainly a hard core of investors on here who are sticking it out and not one of them do I not enjoy reading their posts. Most of us have been bruised and disappointed over the past 12 months but I do agree the next 12 months just has to share its rewards with us still convalescing from said bruisings. | marvelman
05/10/2018 10:33 | Enjoying the intraday TRIN chart with volume, showing lots of blue today. And just spotted WTI heading back up again. | mark10101
05/10/2018 10:19 | Thanks mark. Yep looks like a couple of well timed buys!! Best of luck all. | dunderheed
05/10/2018 10:16 | Bit of a puke day yesterday and this week will have done wonders for freshening up the share holder base. I have updated the thread header to include more charts for TRIN to show volume which I expect to pick up in the coming months. I also Added Brent and WTI intraday charts. Lets hope this is the start of solid growth for the new TRIN. | mark10101
