The Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries will be hosting 'Spotlight on Energy: Our Oil, Our Gas, Our Future' at the Port of Spain Regency Ballroom, Hyatt Regency on Wednesday 14"' March,2018.

The broadcast of the event commences at 9:00 am and will end at 2:30 pm.

Spotlight on Energy will be a forum for open and frank discussions on the Energy Industry in Trinidad and Tobago and its current and future impact on our lives. This event will be broadcasted live on CTV, TV6, CNC3,i95.5 fm and Talk city 91.1fm.

Presentations will be made by the Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Keith Rowley, Senator the Honourable Franklin Khan, Minister of Energy and Energy Industries, Selwyn Lashley, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries, Vishnu Dhanpaul -Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Anthony Pauland representatives of Poten and Partners.

The presentations will be followed by a dynamic panel discussion on comprising Minister Khan, a representative of Poten and Partners - the International consultancy firm that prepared the Natural Gas Master Plan, energy experts Gregory McGuire and Anthony Paul, Chairman Local Content Committee.

This feature will highlight the prospects for the energy sector and the significant role it will continue to play in the economy.

That's totally just my opinion btw guys and not meant to be a ramp in any way.

Why drop or match lumps on each side of the book unless you want to control the price?

Too long in the tooth for this but too much embedded value for this not to rerate.

Question is when not if.

Picked a few more up myself. Looking like TRIN are set to Take off this week. All the great News recently means many are begining to dip their toes back in. Momentum should build nicely from here....

Phowdo, exactly, but once the suppression is achieved volume explodes on a decent rise which allows decent accumulation.

We have oil above $60 (somthing people last year thought would not happen for years) we are net debt possitive with a view to being debt free including CLN by the Autumn (my opinion), our production volume is up 20% yet we are lower than this time last year. There must be lot of people doubting their decisions to buy into TRIN and on the rise may sell out. There is someone on another forum that has a substantial holding but he can’t resist selling large trading chunks into a rise. You can tell long before they announce the 1.2p profit that he has done it. So in order to make a few hundred quid he helps devalue his core holding and moans the MM are playing gains.

Peoples trading patterns will change and there will be a time where these cycle won’t happen, the one thing the market does not like is being predictable...

You cant accumulate wads of stock in these sorts of companies by hitting the ask...
You sit on the bid, you wash out the traders, you rinse and repeat.

SM, I agree some work is done on the downside but volume increases when ever we get an upward move. They rely on the 2p brigade to release some on the way up along with others that are glad to get out as they can’t understand why we got to 15p with the news we have had, so assume they are missing something. I suspect someone is accumulating in the millions.

I dropped 100k on the bid and was immediately out bid by an algorithm.

just my opinion but I believe we have been held here for someone to accumulate big time.

same splintered amounts been dropped on both sides of the book most days for last couple of weeks.

when they have filled their boots we will be away.

I expect the start of the next run up today. They have walked us down and accumulation with greater volume on the way up looks to be a familiar pattern. They know people are scalping 2p so the only way they can get any decent volume atm. I wonder what would happen if the traders with core holdings actually held onto their share this time?

Basem1, over the past 6 months I have been following much the same strategy as you. I play with around 10% of my investment, selling around the 17.5 mark and buying back at under 16. I don’t touch the rest of my investment, wouldn’t want to get left behind when the inevitable restate occurs.
