14/11/2017 18:40 | FSA, please don’t be like the normal crowd we get on here and disappear in a few days, you are brining great entertainment in these fallow times. Looks to be a long boring winter then? Could right if T&T fail to deliver to their budget announced time table. I’ll give you more time to think of a better option than TRIN and hold on for a little longer. | mark10101
14/11/2017 18:33 | FFP 40% up ?? TRIN gone from 7p to 21p and you only 40% up? Where you been? Did you get skinned by TRIN in the past like Mark101001 ??? i flattered that peeps seek my advice but peeps gotta learn from own past mistakes advice start at home in your own head is best you sell if you feel bit rattled like mark , if you comfortable like when yous on holiday with rubber ring in pool and nice drink sunshinin you stick with trin i alway fink if you sleep well at nite you safe in mind if you look over shoulder and see grass growin faster and your lawn lookin like kids been playin rugby on it every day that when you start to get neck ache and feel grumpy grass dont grow fast in winter , bit like trin ? it need fertiliser from some where , i cant see where it goin to get it h2 2018 grass grow better but you have muddy feet for 6 month before then not nice innit | fsawatcher
14/11/2017 18:23 | For the chartists out there, can anyone point me to examples of where a share just beat an earlier recent high but then did not go on to make a significantly higher high? Chart still seems poised to make a decent move into the 20’s to me and I can’t think of any chart set up like TRIN that failed to deliver. 0.2% of stock traded and we drop 8%, the volatility in TRINS chart/trading is actually beneficial for generating a larger move up when it comes. | mark10101
14/11/2017 18:00 | Enjoying all of this banter thatns all. FSA, I am 40% up on my holding, should I sell in your valid opinion? | ffp
14/11/2017 17:44 | nafala - Break-even/ bbl: Price at which Revenues = Royalties + Opex + G&A Break even is $28/barrel. And they won't pay ppt for years because they are carrying losses from previous years. Why not do some research instead of spouting nonsense you are "sure" about? | whiskeyinthejar
14/11/2017 17:30 | mark "mentally written off" is that like a car that don't work any more ? i fink you not alone trin written lotta stuff off directors still takin salary thou and doin alright | fsawatcher
14/11/2017 17:25 | Mark, I am sure that although the $25 or $29 production cost may include G&A it does not include Royaltes, oil qualiyy discount or ppt (levied at 50%). | nafafa
14/11/2017 17:22 | I see it as profit as previous purchases were mentally written off and due to buying on day of relisitng 18p is my current average. No interest in selling at 18p having had many days to sell at that price in the last 6 months. I was mocking really but would genuinely be interested if you can share your all seeing knowledge and put us on a better path than TRIN. My eyes do wonder from time to time but yet to find anything more solid. | mark10101
14/11/2017 17:03 | mark , profits ? ? yous under water on trin, stop the fibbin under the eye , blessid be the fruit mark10101 - 09 Jan 2017 - 11:16:14 - 3018 of 3404 TRINITY EXPLORATION and PRODUCTION LTD - TRIN Yes would have been good to know there was this plan and bought in at the 1.8p, would not have taken much cash to get my average down nicely. Anyway I even think my 30p current average has hope over time. | fsawatcher
14/11/2017 14:34 | FSA, you have me seriously rattled and considering dumping my holding that I have held from 1.9p, time to take profits, only provision is name me 1 other oil and gas stock that is in a safe jurisdiction, have net debt of $0 or better (as TRIN have just gone possitive with this last payment). They need to be generating more than 2000bopd at operating breakeven including G&A of $25/barrel or less (TRIN costs will drop significantly when we sell the West Coast assets). They also need to have opertunity for steady cheap/profitable growth but also should POO improve have some high impact targets also. Always happy to take tips and do my own reasearch afterwards. | mark10101
14/11/2017 14:31 | Beware of nickel and dime traders talking their own short term book! WTI averaged circa $48 in Q3 and is averaging circa $53 and rising daily to date in Q4. The double whammy effect of the current POO and rising production will be having a highly material effect on cash flows in Q4, and beyond, should the current POO be maintained, never mind strengthen. | mount teide
14/11/2017 14:20 | marvelman understand your error i make error with $ or £ sometime so it easy done | fsawatcher
14/11/2017 14:14 | FSA...saw my slip of £ and $ and edited it just before you posted. I am aware of the high quality of the posts and posters on this BB (including yourself I might add) and therefore I am not daft enough to even try to deliberately mislead such people. | marvelman
14/11/2017 14:02 | $12 million in the bank at 30th Sept with a further $4.5 million due any day. Cash flow paying down debt without the need to draw into the bank balance. 13 months to go before the CLN's are due and I have just added another 10k at 16.75 to my ever increasing investment thanks to our seller and the easily spooked "Long Termers" | marvelman
14/11/2017 13:37 | Law you know we covered this when people where trying to induce sells when we were at 10p. It is no elephant in the room and you know it. 10% of the directors renumination package is based on the repayment of that loan prior to them comeing into effect. We have to pay down the government debt first. Who knows they may have even been over paying that! | mark10101
14/11/2017 13:19 | Soup Dragon- Id say LW is a troll. Trash talking shares is a good definition of a troll imo. | whiskeyinthejar
14/11/2017 13:10 | LW425 blows more hot and cold than a thai hooker with a supply of coffee and ice... LW425 - 10 Oct 2017 - 10:54:22 - 4193 of 4702 Trinity Exploration & Production PLC - TRIN 35p+ all day long. Ticks all the right boxes. LW425 - 09 Oct 2017 - 15:28:12 - 4159 of 4702 Trinity Exploration & Production PLC - TRIN 400k buy gone through. Looks good for 30p this week now. LW425 - 04 Oct 2017 - 07:17:52 - 3963 of 4702 Trinity Exploration & Production PLC - TRIN 30p+ Dec target for me. | phowdo
14/11/2017 13:03 | LW, I never said you were a troll. I was just pointing out the items that were lacking in your post. Notably the timescale of the conversion of loan notes. Do companies that have Director options at low prices mean that their share price will drop to the exercise price? | soupdragon55
14/11/2017 13:01 | It is also the case that the board has an incentive to repay the CLN's before they can be converted. In the meantime, they are to be considered in the diluted EPS calculations but that is just theory for now. | bones
14/11/2017 13:00 | FSA, you are a troll because you spread lies. Trinity is PROFITABLE. You lie when you say it isnt. EBITDA is cleaner than cash. Nobody uses cash to compare oil companies! Restructuring was in Q1. Why wont you admit that since the end of H1, cash has increased AND they've paid down debt. | whiskeyinthejar
14/11/2017 12:59 | I am not a troll. I say it as I see it. It is what it is. | lw425
14/11/2017 12:56 | The board have made it clear that they plan to pay back the CLNs before the two year anniversary resulting in no dilution. It's part of their incentive plan along with a 35p share price. | jamesbrightwell |
