I don't think TRR will break much above present levels until earnigs turn convincingly into the black. Miners don't, and don't ever, approach a theoretical NPV valuation (because it is an illogical concept). Investors only value them on a yield or PER basis. TRR looks to be at least a year or two before they can do that

Amati Strategic Metals were once a big holder but that fund has been a disaster and I think is getting lots of redemptions. TRR is frustrating because so many investors in this type of stock want dividends and it is still in growth phase. It should do very well. I'm not sure what more the board can do tbh

This isn't going to move on retail or even director buys. It just isn't on institutional investors radars at the moment and there are probably one or two forced sellers around. But the fundamentals look good especially if the lithium price rebounds. So it is a great time to buy imho

A very impressive vote of confidence by the Chairman of 350000 shares taking his holding to 2.7% of the company. The Chairman knows how undervalued this company is and this is a clear signal to investors that they may wish to follow his lead.

Some clear hints about potential dividend commencement in the past 2 investor meet company webinars. Most likely dividends will start late 2026. It could be 2027. It's all currently about growth & increasing cash flow from royalties over the next 24-30 months.

I guess lithium sentiment dominates investor thinking about TRR given the Thacker Pass exposure. But current revenues primarily gold royalties. As ever sentiment dominates over fundamentals but that could offer a chance to add on the dip

Lithium is a commodity I have many times been tempted by but (very fortunately so far) I have not taken any position in it or in any lithium producer. The price falls this year would lead one to suppose that it is virtually unsaleable at any price! One of the attractions of TRR for me was that the high power management here should know a lot more about it than i do, and will make a bit of money out of it. Time will tell.

To my mind, the 'coming of age' for TRR will be when it starts to pay a dividend. You can come up with just about any valuation for a royalty company's assets, so investors will (rightly in my view) always favour those royalty companies which pay an income, and especially those with a track record of increasing that income over time.

KDNC RNS today
Sonora Lithium Investment Update -Request for treaty negotiations with Mexico

Cadence Minerals (AIM/Aquis: KDNC) advises that the Company and its subsidiary REM Mexico Limited ("REMML") have issued a Request for Consultations and Negotiations ("Request") to the Government of Mexico under the United Kingdom-Mexico Bilateral Investment Treaty ("BIT").

The Request concerns the purported revocation of the mining concessions for the Sonora Lithium Project (the "Project") by the Mexican General Directorate of Mines as announced by Cadence on 31 August 2023, and related acts and omissions by Mexico. The affected concessions include those granted to Mexilit S.A. de CV ("Mexilit") and Minera Megalit S.A. de CV ("Megalit"), these being joint venture companies in which Cadence holds a 30% stake through REMML.

In their Request, Cadence and REMML have identified various BIT obligations that have been breached by Mexico, including Mexico's obligation not to unlawfully expropriate the investments of UK investors such as Cadence and REMML and its obligation to treat such investments fairly and equitably.

In accordance with Article 10 of the BIT, Cadence and REMML have requested consultations and negotiations with Mexico with a view to resolving the dispute amicably. The BIT provides for disputes to be resolved by international arbitration if they cannot be resolved by consultation and negotiation.

Cadence and REMML have engaged leading international law firm Clifford Chance as counsel for the BIT process. The Clifford Chance team representing Cadence and REMML specialise in mining-related investment treaty arbitration cases.

Cadence CEO Kiran Morzaria commented: "The team at Clifford Chance have many years of experience in mining-related investment treaty arbitration, and have successfully resolved similar cases in the past. With their guidance, we are hopeful that a constructive solution can be reached through consultations and negotiations with Mexico under the BIT. "

No. A dividend isn't likely until Thacker Pass is past ramp up and contributing consistently. I think they mentioned it previously as UK investors are generally keen, but realistically we're not there yet - and personally I'd rather funds go towards growth at this stage.

Orion selling is what is giving all us retail investors the chance to buy decent stakes for the longer term. They haven't got much left so the opportunity might not be there for too long
