01/3/2002 11:14 | From Richard Holway: 09:50 Tribal is on the acquisition trail again, well it has been nearly a month since its last two. In its sights this time is Secta, "the largest specialist healthcare consultancy in the UK". In the year ended 31st Mar. 01 Secta has turnover of £5.41m and normalized operating profit of £1.03m. The initial consideration is £8.65m, satisfied by £5.04m in guaranteed loan notes, £1.56m cash and the balance in shares. Comment: Traditionally in the education sector (if you can say that after just two years of being), the company has always stated that it wanted to expand into other areas, and this acquisition represents its first foray into the health care market. We reported in our recently published report on the public sector, the healthcare market is forecast to have the highest rate of market growth within the UK public sector ITS market. | cat

20/12/2001 16:50 | Point of order: doesn't a GoldenX also require that both MAs be moving upwards? Eg, if EMA 10 crosses up through EMA50, but 50 still going down, I don't think that counts? (Also think the X can be any pair of MAs you chose to watch - I watch for 10/20 and 20/50, for example) | zzaxx99

23/11/2001 18:38 | Dave37 I hate to see a namesake ( or their friends) in trouble, perhaps you should get him to install divorce 1.0 which is expensive and time consuming to run (I personally have used divorce versions 1.0 and 2.0), but it will eventually uninstall wife 1.0. Unfortunately it also deletes car 1.0, house 1.0, ms money and needs a high level of maintenance. Alternatively, perhaps he should just reboot. Regards David 2000 | david2000
