17/5/2017 14:09 | would be great if it climbed another penny or so before close | netcurtains
17/5/2017 09:35 | Selling the overhang of shares will significantly increase liquidity. With a small cap like this that could increase the share price on it's own. | trier1
17/5/2017 07:50 | Whatever - its all semantics really - I'm surprised that you simply did not understand what the chap meant. There is a BIG WAD of SHARES that has to be sold. The sale might make the share price go up (good information coming in via the seller) or it might make the price go down (have to sell at a loss).
So far, the omens say: "WE'RE IN THE MONEY"..... But early days. | netcurtains
17/5/2017 07:00 | They won't sell the bulk of those shares in the open market, that would not be maximising the returns for creditors. | pj 1
17/5/2017 06:48 | Liquidator not involved, its with the broker and i think the share price tells you how he's getting on. | spooky
17/5/2017 05:43 | PJ1: You know the ex-20% holder who no longer has the shares but is now with the liquidator. They will have to sell (so 'forced seller') eventually. We've talked about this for two weeks, surely you know what he meant? | netcurtains
16/5/2017 21:57 | Forced seller? | pj 1
16/5/2017 21:23 | Hi modform:
The forced seller still has to sell. I was suggesting that the rise is in part due to the marketing campaign of the liquidators... Its quite possible (look at the history) that they think they know a bit more positive news than we do come the final results in june.
For sure the whole thing might collapse like a pack of cards if the seller floods the market. But on the other hand they might be able to sell to "big institution" which might potentially make the price rise even further.
Anything might happen and it probably will..
That is why I bought back.... Its a gamble for sure, but so far it looks OK. TOUCHWOOD | netcurtains
16/5/2017 21:03 | Still holding onto mine, I wonder what happened to the forced seller | modform
16/5/2017 10:14 | every now and again some big trades going in. Some people must be pretty sure of themselves. | netcurtains
16/5/2017 09:05 | Looking back at the last 6 days the transactions have been nearly all buys, so good old fashioned buying power pushing these back up.
We know what the PBT will be at least £1.5m which does mean that TRD are cheap, seems that other investors are picking up on this. | interceptor2
16/5/2017 08:41 | Have bought some. Very cheap indeed. If they can pay a dividend and why not given the cash they will have at the moment it will add confidence as well. | trier1
16/5/2017 08:31 | way things are going we could hit new high this week. But early days. Lets see a bit more.... | netcurtains
16/5/2017 06:11 | Suspect someone has picked up something positive to do with the shares in bankruptcy. | pj 1
16/5/2017 05:49 | Its possible, as the liquidator goes round trying to sell the shares they have to, as part of the process, sell how good Triad is as a company, and as a knock on effect of this, a lot of people are buying the shares.
9% rise in a day, is a lot of smoke. | netcurtains
15/5/2017 14:45 | temping to think they might give a dividend. | netcurtains
15/5/2017 14:09 | "Healthy" - indeed , Triad do not do the NHS (yet)..... All their systems working! | netcurtains
15/5/2017 13:05 | Healthy buying for a week here now....finally being reflected by the SP | gleach23
10/5/2017 13:03 | Interesting times... If you are interested in "potential" bargains, check out PCF.L (touchwood) | netcurtains
10/5/2017 12:59 | L2 and the reported trades not making much sense today. If it continues though it could be te highest volume for some weeks | pj 1
04/5/2017 05:45 | PJ1: I do know that funds (institutions) love to boast about "growth rate of fund" etc etc - so if they got shares at a discount to current price this would give them a "growth rate" on day one!!
But also, at the price triad is now, there is a chance it could be significantly higher by 2018 or even by THIS JUNE (if they decide to give a dividend). | netcurtains
03/5/2017 19:49 | That's an option net, who knows?
Bearing in mind we have a Bankrupt with at least £2m of assets then its safe to assume there must be some very large creditors out there? Maybe if they are preferential financial institutions then maybe they will take the shares as (part) settlement?
Only a thought as we do not know the full list of secured and unsecured creditors.
I wouldn't have thought the likes of Ladbrookes or Betfred would be interested in that sort possibility though!! | pj 1
03/5/2017 19:29 | PJ1: I've had another thought!!!
Shares often rise (sometimes substantially) when there is a RNS saying an institution has taken X share in the company...
If the firm of accountants does their job properly they might be able to get about 5 or 6 institutions all taking 3% or more... Imagine every few weeks we get an RNS saying "Blue Chip Institution X has taken 3% of Triads shares)...
This could be potentially just the break that Triad needs - some institutional support. ..... | netcurtains
02/5/2017 18:24 | PJ1: "she" from post 309.
But thinking about it, you sound right. | netcurtains
02/5/2017 17:40 | ''she''?
The Shares will have to be placed at some point, probably in the short term. Medium term at the longest. It seems to me Arden will be working on placing or negotiating the sale and transfer of them, and were brought in to do just that.
The Trustee of the Bankruptcy often need funds to continue the process such as paying ongoing fees to deal with liquidation. In this case probably including their own fees ... | pj 1
