probably done after pub closed! But seriously I noted that there is an extra sweetener in the press release.

It talks about "X" - how Triad is going to break into the £2M-£3M profit range in the next year or so... A new "Strategy" that will be fully unveiled in the June Results.

They certainly have the cash in the bank now to do something interesting. Perhaps its to get into IT online training (there is a huge shortage of people and probably lots of cash to train)...

That is one thought, there obviously are lots of other avenues. Should be interesting future ahead of us.

I still think with two years of doubling profits, the market should give the benefit of the doubt to triad and view it as a growth stock.

I'd say, £2.00 a share would be fairer... But lets see how it goes.

Great news here, I was lucky to notice the trading update before the close and manage a small top up, I already hold a decent amount.

£1.5m I would think is likely to mean at least 10p EPS, but will be higher because they still have £374k deferred tax, so not sure have much they will use this year?

Given the way this lurches about, there's plenty of time between now and the June Finals to hit £1 imo.

Nice update today but it did somewhat thwart my cunning plan of building a bigger position in the lead up to June as it drifted lower.

Probably getting a little carried away with my 15p eps prediction. But i suspect the numbers when they come in will not be a million miles away. A lot will depend on margins...

I reckon we might be looking at near 15p EPS now with profits doubling to £1.5m?

Unnecessary post as the TU is already in the header unlike the other thread!

Its all about the outlook statement in June now. The TU suggests that EPS will be getting on for 10p which makes fair value now for me at about 90p (PER 9). However, if they indicate further momentum for 2017/18, then we could reasonably expect EPS of c12p and a forward PER of between 12 and 15 could be tolerated.

SP could therefore reach c150p later this year if interims are in-line with June's outlook (assuming expectations of EPS of 12p are factored in).

it is quite good really - doubled its profits - two years in a row, and looks good going forward too.

Should really be about £1.50 to £2.50 range I guess...

Trading Update

The Directors of Triad are issuing a post year-end update in order to update the market of its trading on a timely basis post the financial year end.

The Company's business has continued to develop satisfactorily since the announcement of the interims on 25 November 2016 and the Directors are confident that they will report further progress on the Company's strategy in June. In the absence of unforeseen circumstances, the Directors expect that profit before tax for the year ended 31 March 2017 will be around GBP1.5 million as compared to GBP863,000 in the previous year.

The other thread has lost credibility for me so I shall be using this one from now on.

Some time ago I asked netcurtains to include the basic ADVFN supplied Fundamental data and News in the header but, instead, he appears to have concocted a bespoke version that doesn't work properly i.e. news items are not appearing and market cap & PE are not updating dynamically.

There are no broker estimates for TRD, my own estimate FWIW are for PBT certainly higher than £1.0m but my EPS estimates is between 8.4p and 9.8p.

Figures were reached by just extrapolating the must recent interim results and trying use conservative net margin and likely growth figures.

gleach- that's what I meant. The Holy Grail can often be an unloved share where no fundamentals have changed.
