Having topped up last Friday, I found myself feeling uncomfortable with it over the weekend. Strange how ownership does that. The two issues still bugging me are the year to March 19 numbers and the unpredictable MM holding.

The interims showed a marked deterioration in most metrics but gross margin had increased as had the dividend. Question is how was H2 trading? If it continued the slide, might the result be a loss overall? We don’t know and I find Netcurtains’ cheerleading isn’t helping persuade me :)

As for the Mira holding, what is she doing with it? Motives? I still don’t know. As far as we can ascertain, her issues are unresolved from her standpoint.

Anyway, with WEY falling back today and with my complete faith in that company, I decided I had to buy back the shares in that company that I top-sliced last week.

I got a better price for those but I’m no better off as I took a 2p spread hit on the sale of TRD but I have to be comfortable. I’ve decided to wait on the TRD results on the sidelines before re-entering there on confirmation of better news. Could be my loss but I always trust my gut for better or worse!

I’ve taken a slice off the top of WEY and used some of it to top up TRD. I’m hoping TRD will do a WEY and double in quick time.

No I meet the guys often - they always buy their fair share of rounds.
There is no reason for the price apart from not enough people buying.
Seriously, if anyone knows who does not work for them, I do (I could still be wrong of course).
they are a local firm to me (Godalming)

OK so not "better" but cheaper. But then TRD has for a long time been cheaper than most companies, software related or otherwise. Maybe it is cheaper for a reason.

Sure Valhamos... Go to very top of thread, I've been comparing IT companies by financial figures.

using ADVFN figures:
Triad make profit, has turnover of #28M but market cap of #5.5M (ridiculously low)

GHT (same sector), makes losses, only has turnover of #19M but market cap of #74M

Triad de facto CHEAP as CHIPS!

To say something is "better" implies that it is comparable in the first place. GHT has an excellent Clareti package that is leading to growing recurring revenues. Why is TRD better?

Hargreaves Services is another I keep my eye on. Shares trade significantly below book value but the share price has gone down and sideways for ages now.

Good point, it all leads to this share needing an institutional investor taking an interest in it or the company being more active in the private investor events to stop the mid result drift.

People sell if they think the price is not going anywhere. No share is too low to sell.

Yep - I'm like that - have four - it only takes one! Boom!
And having four stops you getting bored.
