Hi Mira,

If you are reading this, there is an entry in the Individual Insolvency Register referring to 'Mira Makar'. See:

If this indeed refers to you and is incorrect, I suggest you might seek to correct it. There is a feedback link on the site to use for this.
Kind regards.

netcurtains - "currently Triad is valued at £5.6M and it has X millions in the bank."

Small beer compared with the following from 1091 above

"Plainly there are substantial damages that accrue as a result of this. Uncontested damages in my favour before damages to be assessed by the court were £330m as at the end of 2014 "

As I say uninvestable until the directors start treating us with some respect.

I've had a look over TRD before and wondered at the share price weakness, the Mira posts seem legit but either way there always was this court case in the background with TRD and as such I wouldn't touch this with a bargepole.

Re 1091, penultimate paragraph.

How has £330m been determined, and by who, and who do you think “owes” it.

How is 2014 before 2013?

netcurtains - I have a small amount invested here, but no matter how healthy the underlying business is, TRD has become uninvestable because the directors seem to have their heads in the sand and seem incapable of clearly communicating with their shareholders. I am beginning to wonder what lies beneath the surface with this company.

Some of them seem to have been around for a long time and I am thinking that maybe they are there just to protect their own interests rather than those of shareholders.

It is worth remembering that most people involved in court cases do not write long rambling messages on messages board.

================================================================

Bottom line is the company makes about £1M a year and this £1m is put into an account and is accumulating every year.

Currently Triad is valued at £5.6M and it has X millions in the bank.

Need I really say more.

Cheers Net.

In the case referenced in the last RNS:

Mira is the defendant and Triad the claimant. The convention is that the claimant is always named first and the defendant named second. If Triad lose the case then they will have to pay Mira's lawyer's fees and the £10k court fee and of course their own lawyers' fees, but there can be no damages against the company (unless a counter-claim is issued.) So there is only a very small financial risk to the company from this action, although you could argue there is a reputational risk.

If Mira hasn't yet been served with the court papers yet then she will be at some point soon. At which point she could post details of the claim here. Of course she may choose not to since it is possible it may harm her defence.

Still no news from the company on what all this means and the implications for shareholders.

So how many shares TRD do you now own Mira

And what is your claim in GBP that you are seeking from Triad

Does it include damages ?

Re post 1080, Nick Burrows emailed me early yesterday morning. He had been in touch with their lawyers late on Friday. They were under the impression that no form of consent was required by Queens Bench. He has asked the lawyers to clarify the situation and will contact me again when they have done so.

Which is all the more reason the company needs to start communicating properly to its shareholders rather than the series of rather obscure comments in previous RNS and the non communication of the last one. I must say I am getting increasingly frustrated with the management of this company.

I wonder........ if Mira wins the case

Will TRD have to pay all/some of the court costs and damage claims ?

Or will it be the other individuals named in the case

Looking at the RNS

Claim Number QB-2018-000581: Triad Group Plc, Nicholas Burrows, Alistair Fulton v Mira Makar

It looks like TRD don't you think ?

Which then begs the question

How much could we be talking about here ???

Is it $ Millions ?

I have contacted the Queen's Bench this morning but was told they could not release any details of the claim unless I can provide written permission from one of the parties to release the information to me. I then phoned TRD, explained the position to the receptionist who conferred with someone and then simply transferred me to Nick Burrows voicemail. I left a message for Mr Burrows and will await a reply.

That may be the case, netcurtains, but why produce a RNS that 'refers' shareholders to something which appears not to be readily available and about which the author of the RNS, the executive chairman of TRD is incapable of saying what the claim is (a matter of fact rather than 'discussion or debate' - the latter I can quite easily understand would be problematic)

Not very impressed with this TRD non-communication.

Valhamos: It seems the people who produce RNS for Triad (directors) appear to be in court case with Mira, so they potentially are not allowed to say anything until court case is resolved.

Be interesting to see what happens next.

An unsatisfactory RNS. If you are going to "refer shareholders and any other interested parties to a recent claim" then provide a link so that they can then read for themselves what you are trying to convey otherwise what is the point?
